The apartment and it's location make this an ideal place for family holidays. The Rio Fermosa is a haven for migrating birds. There are many quiet and secluded beaches within easy walking distance. The small town of Fuzeta with it’s picturesque square and harbour is only 500 yards away, where tourist information and other local amenities can be found. There are many golf courses within a short drive and they offer excellent value for money and are not as crowded as many found on the Algarve.

Travel
Nearest airport is Faro and is approximately 15 minutes drive. Car hire is not essential as you can catch a train right down to the apartment .where the station is a 2 min walk from the apartment, There is a secure parking space included in the basement car park. from the railway station you can get a train down to Spain or the full length of the Algarve up to lagos, fares are very reasonable.

Hi, my name is Mark Verden, I'm a self employed joiner, I'm 45 years old, I have a 16 year old daughter Katie who lives with my partner Angela and I in Settle, a small town in the Yorkshire Dales where I have lived all my life. I have played lots of local sport over the years gaining lots of good friends.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
I bought the property off the plan, we liked the area and the thought of having a holiday home right on the sea edge really appealed to us. We loved the great beaches and the uncommercialised town of Fuzeta, there are not many places left on Algarve unspoilt like it. It is less than a 3 hour flight and about 25 minutes drive from Faro airport. Another major thing was the very reasonable cost of food and drink both from the local shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. We also liked that it is only a short drive to Tavira and the Spanish border. Fuzeta is in the middle of the reformosa nature reserve.
Unique benefits of the property
Even though we rent the apartment out to help with the costs we love to stay there ourselves it feels so tranquil sat on the terrace looking out to sea with the the sun setting. We were so pleased the way the build turned out and surprised that the pool was a really good size to swim in the under ground parking is spacious. The apartment does have the wow factor which we owe to the company that finished it. We have only ever had excellent feedback. The apartment has full air-conditioning which is needed in the summer and also it doubles up as heating in the winter months.
