This beautiful refurbished windmill dating from 1866. 5 mins walk to the picturesque village of Sto Estevao with its shops, bars, restaurants, pharmacy, cash machine and wonderful church. A further 10minute walk and you will find 2 brand new swimming pools for public use, set in beautiful peaceful grounds, with cafeteria. Only 10 mins drive to the beautiful historic town of Tavira, which is a must visit for anyone staying in the Eastern Algarve. As you can imagine a town like Tavira has everything a holidaymaker needs, highly recommended. The areas many beautiful beaches can be seen from the windmills top terrace and are easily reached in minutes by car. Enjoy a drink on the top terrace and literally feel on top of the world, the views are spectacular, see to believe! Car parking, lovely gardens and BBQ. Experience the Eastern Algarve at its best.

Changeover day
On a changeover day guests must vacate the property by 10am and incoming guests arrive at 2pm , although we try to be as flexible as we possibly can.

Coast/Beach
There some great beaches and sandbars all within easy reach. You will need a car and within less than 15 minutes you can be at any number of fantastic beaches.

Golf
Golf is exploding in the Eastern Algarve,local courses include Benamor (15 mins).the sister courses of Quinta da Cima and Quinta da Ria both (15 mins) Jack Nicklaus's new (but expensive) masterpiece Monte Rei (30 mins). The numerous courses of the western Algarve can be reached from (40 mins).

Travel
The windmill is ideally situated approximately 30 minutes from Faro airport and the journey is mainly motorway.Plus 1hour and 30mins from beautiful city of Seville all motorway also.
