There are many beautiful beaches with white sands around the coast of Lagos such as Praia D'Ana, Praia do Camilo, Praia da Batata, Meia Praia.
Golf
There are 4 excellent world famous golf courses in the area with ideal conditions and top class facilities, the nearest being Quinta Boavista and Palmares, a mere 10 minute drive from the villa. Travelling towards the east side of the Algarve there are the magnificent championship courses of Penina, Vilaoura & Vale do Lobo.
Distances
The new shopping centre at Guia with its free parking facilitity is very popular and worth a visit, where one can find plenty of clothes, jewellery, leather handbag, shoe shops, cinemas and restaurants.

There are 2 excellent restaurants on the beach in front of the villa. The nearest supermarket Intermarche is an approximate 5 minute drive away.
The town centre itself, within a 7 minute drive from the villa, has plenty of banks, 2 Post Offices, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. Lagos boasts of a new Marina with colourful shops, bars & restaurants. Yachts from all over the world visit the Marina which has first class facilities. There are a wide choice of restaurants servicing delicious fresh fish and a choice of highly drinkable local wines.
