The villa is suitable for all ages, lovely garden and pool area.

Accessibility
The villa has a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor which is ideal for the elderly, disabled and children.

Outside
Private garden, patio surrounding the swimming pool, outdoor shower, built in barbecue, garden tables and chairs, sun loungers. Upper sun terrace which is ideal for early morning coffee, sunbathing or late night drinks. Private car parking.

Coast/Beach
A 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk is Vilamoura's 2 blue flag beaches which stretch for about 5 miles. The villa is close to the town of Quarteira (10 minutes in car but can also be accessed by a 5 minute walk from the Marina) where a super fresh fish and vegetable market are open every day. There is also a lovely promenade running along side the beach which brings the walker/s to the beach of Vale de Lobo.

Golf
Villa Rafales is about a 3 minute walk to The Pinhal Golf Course and in Vilamoura there are 6 of the best courses on the Algarve, the newest being Victoria which held the Golf World Cup in 2005 and is rated one of the best courses in Europe. Vilamoura has 6 championship standard 18 hole courses: The Old Course, The Pinhal Course, The Laguna; The New Victoria, The Millenium Course and Vila Sol. The Portuguese Open has been played at Vila Sol for two years running.

Travel
Faro is the nearest airport about 25 minute drive. Main roads in the Algarve are of excellent standard and well sign posted. Taxis are readily available.

Distances
The nearest supermarket is a 5 minute walk, The Old Village is a pleasant 10 minute walk from the villa which has a supermarket, restaurants and bars. The marina is an easy 15-20 minute walk/5 minute drive. Quarteira, Almancil and Loule (all traditional Portuguese villages with restaurants, shops, bars and banks) are a 10-15 minute drive from the villa. There is a 'Swim and Slide' park 10 minutes drive away.
