Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. We will accept euros at the appropriate rate. To sleep more than 10 persons add 5% per person to the price tariff. Long term winter prices available from £200 per week from 31 October 2007 until the 1 March 2008. Plus cost of logs and gas for central heating. SPECIAL OFFER 20% off a 2 week stay at Christmas 20% reduction on a 2 week stay at Christmas.
Changeover day
Saturday is our normal changeover day but we can be flexable by arrangement. Arrival after 2pm and depart before 10am.

Notes on accommodation
The property is set in 3500sq mt of gardens with seperate areas for those who want to get away from it all ,the poolside is a fantastic area for getting together with bbq ect and is the evening with the pool lighting and the cobbles it gives a fabuless romantic setting .

Outside
Set in large mature grounds, with secure back garden, well away from the pool area (so safe for little children). The pool area is separated by hedging from the house. And incorporates a large "Solar Heated pool" 12m x 5m and a separate covered barbecue/kitchen. Outdoor dining tables with chairs. Loungers and garden chairs.
Coast/Beach
There are numerous beaches accessible by a short drive. The nearest being 4km. Being in the south-west of the Algarve there is very easy access to the south as well as the west coast with beautiful sandy beaches, many with Blue Flag.
Golf
There are numerous golf courses around Lagos, the closest being only 3km away.
Travel
It is strongly recommended to have a car, there are many available from the airport. We can recomend a competitive carhire for you with a personalised car waiting service from the airport. Faro airport is approximately 80km or 1 hours drive by motorway. The house is 3km away from the end of the motorway and is easy to find. There is also a train from Faro to Lagos at regular times.
Distances
Lagos, the old Portuguese fishing town is 4km away. Silves which is the old Moorish capital city of the Algarve and has a beautiful castle (well worth visiting) - about a 30 minute drive. Farther up is serra the Monchique, about 45 minutes away and the town of Monchique a lovely old market town also about the same distance. Portimao, an old harbour town is 20 minutes. Sagres and its cape were considered by the Portuguese as the far limit of the ancient and medieval worlds, 20 minutes.
Further details
There are numerous shops and banks and supermarkets in Lagos. Lovely restaurants, bars, nightclubs. Also there is a good fish market and a lovely vegetable market with mostly produce from the locals. Lagos is a walled city, mostly with pedestian areas with beautiful cobbled streets. There is a marina from where you can take a boat trip. Lagos has its own lovely little coves and beaches. Lovely gift shops and cafe's spilling out onto the pavements.
