Saturday to Saturday during school holidays but can be flexible at other times.

Notes on accommodation
Jacuzzi in the garden, wood burning stoves in living room, master bedroom and 4th bedroom. Gym. Sauna and steam room with table tennis. Alarm system and security lighting.
Accessibility
The Villa has not been adapted for wheelchair users. Having been built on several levels there are a number of stairways to negotiate.
Outside
Private and secluded, the beautifully landscaped, mature garden enjoys a choice of sun or shade all day long. The 53sqm heated pool and 6 seat Jacuzzi are surrounded by gloriously manicured gardens. Attractively designed and planted with an abundance of sub tropical trees and shrubs, mature colourful borders make way for a lawn and pathways, whilst pomegranate, banana and palm trees as well as indigenous Portuguese lemon, almond and olive trees are dotted around the boundaries. A delightful arbour with a bench seat makes a cosy haven amid the gardens to relax, read or enjoy a sundowner. Additional features include an enchanting Moroccan water feature, extended terraces and BBQ. Patios and terraces are all equipped with luxury weatherproof outdoor furniture including a romantic love bed with muslin drape. Shade is offered by reed thatched cabana style umbrellas. The garden can, on request be illuminated in the evening, making it perfect for entertaining.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is 2-3 minutes away in the quaint fishing village of Salema. Running south from Lagos are a string of sandy coves tucked among sandstone cliffs leading to saltwater caves and rock formations. The 60-mile coastline offers some of the continent’s best bathing spots with an amazing variety of beaches from the translucent shallows of Ria de Alvor lagoon to Meia Praia a 6km crescent of white sand curving toward the city of Lagos, to the most south westerly point of Europe - Sagres.
Golf
Parque da Floresta has a picturesque well maintained 18-hole golf course along with a golf academy and driving range. Guests benefit from a 40% discount off green fees.
Travel
Casa Roma is conveniently located just under an hours drive from Faro and a couple of hours from Lisbon and Seville via the A22 Motorway. The historic city of Lagos is set around 15 minutes drive from Parque da Floresta. Car hire is recommended.
Distances
The historic city of Lagos, set around 15 minutes drive from Casa Roma, has become known as the cultural capital of the Algarve. From here Portuguese explorers set out on voyages to the coast of Africa & it still has something of a swashbuckling air. Its rivermouth fortress and medieval walls hold a warren of narrow cobbled streets full of shops, cafes and restaurants that fill in summer nights with diners & a bar-hopping crowd. Few places can match the atmosphere.

Casa Romã is located in a prime position on the award winning Parque da Floresta Golf & Leisure Resort where homes are clustered around the perimeter of an undulating 18 hole golf course. Set at it’s heart is a clubhouse, restaurants, a shop, outdoor swimming pools, gymnasium and spa.
The resort features a whole host of additional facilities including; a golf academy, golf shop and golf club, tennis courts, bowling greens, Children’s club, soccer academy, 24 hour reception and a shuttle service to the resort’s own beach bar at Cabanas Velhas, just a 5 minute drive away.
The nearest beach to Parque da Floresta is 2-3 minutes away in the quaint fishing village of Salema. There are an abundance of excellent local restaurants within short easy driving distance.
Booking notes
A 35% non refundable deposit is required to secure the booking and the balance is due 8 weeks before arrival. £250 damage deposit with the balance. Pool heating £250 extra per week.
