Our beautiful 3 bedroom villa has been tastefully furnished throughout and offers all our guests the comfort of a well equipped home from home. The villa is within walking distance of the local shop (1 min), tennis centre (5 min) and the fantastic golf club (10 min). The Marriott Hotel is (15 min) walk - well worth the visit, offering bars, restaurants, and lots of outdoor space, plus gym and superb spa too. Live music is available Friday and Saturday evenings in the lobby bar, children of all ages are very welcome at the Hotel. The family friendly Golf Club also has a really good bar menu too. The Praia Del Rey Beach is a short walk away, but you can park very near and walk onto the beach. This beach is patrolled by lifeguards in the summer months and the area has several other wonderful beaches nearby all worth a visit. Club Adventura offers family fun or if you fancy a boogie, then try Zanzibar Nightclub!

Outside
The villa has a lovely outlook with a large well maintained garden, an array of scented flowering pots, fresh herb containers and large private pool, 10m x 5m, (unheated). Plenty of outdoor patio space can be found around the Villa, with a separate BBQ area, including outdoor sink. For our guests comfort, we have large sun loungers plus additional pool seating too, or if you want to really unwind why not try our very comfortable summer swing seat with canopy. If you enjoy outdoor entertaining/eating their is plenty of space to dine alfresco with adequate seating and tables. For the young at heart their is an assortment of inflatable pool floats and outdoor games for guests to use. The pool area also has an outdoor shower.
Coast/Beach
Praia Del Rey Beach is only 10-15 minutes walk, but it only takes 5 minutes by car. The area also has three other stunning beaches all a short drive away:- Obidos Lagoon - suitable for children. Baleal/Peniche - surfing and kite surfing, surf lessons. Foz d'Arelho - suitable for children with plenty of cafe/bars.
Golf
Want to play golf? Tee off on one of Europe's best courses.
18 hole, Par 73. Praia Del Rey Golf Course is only 10 minutes walk away, bookings can be made direct with the Golf Club. The villa has a set of golf clubs for clients to use. Alternative courses are available a short drive away: Campo Real, Qunita Da Brincal and Penha Longha.
Travel
Lisbon International Airport is the nearest to the villa.

5 min away by car - Praia Beach and Obidos Lagoon offering plenty of water sports. 10/20 min away by car - Baleal Beach. Peniche Children's Water Park - summer only. Peniche Town and marina. Obidos - Medieval Village, with arts and craft shops. Caldhas da Rainha - with daily fresh produce market, shops. New shopping centre and restaurants. Lovely park. 25 -60 plus min away by car - Go-carting. Fatima - religious experience. Berlenga Islands. Lisbon for shopping/sight.
Further details
Walking distance of the local small shop (1 min). The Marriott Hotel has a cashpoint. The nearest main shopping area is Caldhas Da Rainha with it's daily open air market, selling fresh produce and other goods. The daily fresh fish market is only a few minutes walk from the main square (morning's only). The local area offers plenty of restaurants offering traditional Portuguese cuisine. The new shopping centre at Caldhas was opened in Dec 08, offering a fanstastic range of shops and restaurants plus a large supermarket on the ground floor.
Obidos has a well stocked supermarket, banks and plenty of traditional portuguese restaurants and craft shops too, plus an open air theatre at the end of the main street, Odidos is car free and suitable for children. They have a wonderful Medieval Fair in July, which is spectacular.
Peniche Water park for children is only open in the summer months.
Baleal and Foz beaches are very safe beaches for children, offering plenty of bars and restaurants. If you follow the signs to Peniche Marina, you will find plenty of larger restaurants too.
The resort has a family activity club, where you can pre-book excursions or activities, hire bikes or just join in with the daily programme of activities on offer.

A full information pack is available at the Villa for all guests, offering directions to all beaches, supermarkets, shopping centres, activities and recommended restaurants in the area, plus a selection of maps for days out - if you fancy exploring further afield.
Booking notes
A 10% deposit is required to secure your booking. Balance due 10 weeks prior to arrival. Cancellation Policy as follows: Up to 8 weeks - no cancellation charge 4-8 weeks - 50% of rate refunded, 2-4 weeks - 25% of rate refunded, Less than 2 weeks - no refund.
