Casa Cristina is a spacious non-overlooked South facing private villa, nestled in large grounds with pine and fruit trees, superbly located, affording complete privacy whilst offering panoramic countryside and sea views with wonderful romantic sunsets, on a Southerly wind you can hear & smell the sea!
Ground floor - WC/cloaks, split level lounge with fireplace and separate dining area, comfortably furnished with SKY TV, DVD, VCR with library, CD player. Fully fitted Kitchen with black marble quartz worktops. One Twin bedroom and One Double bedroom both with their own En-suites. Via a marble staircase, the Master En-suite with His & Her sinks, Super King Size bed and its own large wrap-around sun terrace overlooks the kidney shaped pool with underwater lighting. Built-in BBQ with ceramic tiled benches & table or there are two excellent bar/restaurants conveniently 300 yards at the end of the lane and also close enough to walk to the town of Moncarapacho with all it's amenities.

Changeover day
Thursday in High/Peak summer season, we are flexible, please ask. For early arrivals, arrangements can easily be made to leave the cases at the villa. For late arrivals or for your convenience a welcome pack priced at £25 can be provided.

Marble staircase leading to bedroom 1 - master with super king size bed, built-in fitted wardrobes and en-suite bathroom.
Bathrooms: All ensuite bathrooms with bath/shower, bidet, WC, sink, shaver points with illuminated dressing mirrors.
The Master bedroom ensuite has His and Her sinks, shaver point with illuminated dressing mirrors.
Kitchen: Fully fitted kitchen with black marble quartz worktops, oven & hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, cafetiere and the usual essentials.
Living Rooms: Lounge with 21" Colour TV, Sky/Digital, DVD, VCR with Video library and portable CD/Tape player. Comfortable 3 & 2 seater settees with tables for coffee cups etc situated around a log fire. The dining area has a large table with 6 chairs and sideboard.
Other: Separate downstairs wc/cloakroom. Safe in master bedroom.
A cot and highchair are available upon request, free of charge.
Internet Dongle hire can be arranged through a local supplier, please ask for details.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
The villa has fresh linen and towels on arrival and changed weekly. The pool is cleaned and water tested twice a week, please bring your own beach towels. Richard and Treasa, our managers are very helpful and live 5 minutes away.

Notes on accommodation
This family villa has been considerately well appointed, it is particularly suitable for children as the pool area is walled and has lockable gates, sunny and shaded areas. As with a villa in large grounds the pool area, sun terrace and large master bedroom terrace for sunbathing or dining offers complete privacy. All double glazed windows, patio doors have professionally fitted Mosquito screens and all the bedrooms have very efficient heating and cooling units for those hot summer days and cool winter nights. Outside
The private pool is 8x4m kidney shaped with underwater lighting, there is ample poolside furniture and covered terrace for alfresco dining. There is a large built in BBQ with ceramic tiled benches and table. Patio doors from the master bedroom to a spacious wrap-around sun terrace for sunbathing or dining enjoying beautiful views and wonderful sunsets.

Coast/Beach
Our local Beach Island of Fuzeta (4kms) is one of the best in the Algarve and a 'Must' day out. The Islands of Culattra, Armona and Farol can be reached by the new marina in Olhao (4kms) and the little known beach of Faro Island is worth a visit.
For painters, photographers, and bird watchers, the Rio Formosa Nature Reserve (4kms) is rich in bird and plant life, you can also see the Portuguese water dogs, an opportunity not to be missed.
Water taxis and small boat trips are plentiful.

Golf
Not only has the Algarve the best golfing climate in Europe it also has some of the best courses and facilities.
To the West, Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo courses are within 20 mins of the villa and Vilamoura a further 15 mins further on. To the East, Benamor, Quinta de Cima and the Quinta de Ria are within 30 minutes and Castro Marim a further 15 minutes on. If all you want is a flick, in Moncarapacho there is a new Par 3 course and along our road is a 3 hole, pitch & putt (9 tees) with driving range, chipping areas and putting green and truly superb facilities can be enjoyed by all of the family.

Travel
Faro Airport - 20 Minutes. Car hire is recommended.

Further details
Convenient Local restaurants. For those not wishing to venture too far there are two good restaurants within 300 metres at the end of the lane, which also sells ice creams etc during the day. We use these regularly and normally pre-order during the day for the evening meal for a lovely ‘drive free’ evening.
The food is excellent and reasonably priced; you can buy ‘Piri Piri’ Chicken with Salad and French fries for only 6 euro each! We like to ‘live like the locals’ so we go to our local fresh food market in Moncarapacho where you can buy bread rolls, cheese and ham, fish caught the same day, Meat & Chicken for the BBQ and locally grown fruit and vegetables.

The small market town of Moncarapacho has a beautiful square where you can enjoy a meal and a drink or two with the locals, its Bars and Restaurants serve excellent and reasonably priced food (More Value for Money than to the west of Faro). Here you will also find banks, post office, internet cafe, chemist, doctors, 3-4 well stocked mini-marts that are open everyday from 8.30am to 8pm. In nearby Olhao, there is a new marina and shopping centre with Free Wi-Fi Zones, nearby are large supermarkets including Modelo's, Plus and Lidl. We have a number of excellent markets nearby (a detailed information book is in the villa) where you can pick up some real bargains.
On the first Sunday of the month, it is in our local village of Moncarapacho, just a short walk away. There is also an interesting car-boot near the beach of Fuzeta where you will find some unusual items. Ayamonte, 35 mins (the Spanish border) town has a similar market every Saturday. Tourist resort towns with entertainment, bars and casinos only a 15 - 40 minute drive away (depending which town you would like to visit). Finally, to see more of the original Eastern Algarve then a circular drive through Moncarapacho, Estói, Olhão and Tavira is well worth doing. Again with the A22 link this makes a good half day visit.

Booking notes
Payments can be made online or by cheque.

A deposit of 25% is required on booking with the balance due 8 weeks prior to departure, or immediately if booking is made within 8 weeks of departure date. A breakages deposit of £100 (payable with your balance) which will be refunded within 5 days on return of the villa keys to us providing our agent has found everything to be in order after checking the villa inventory.
