The cafe bar in the building is very reasonable for drinks and food. Short walk to Port de Mos and Don Ana beaches. There are good local transport links. It is 200mts from local restaurants, bars and 3 mini markets, one with bakery on site. A short walk will take you to the Avenida and the ocean.This is a lovely walk where you can sea Meia Praia beach and walk down the side of the estuary where the boats cruise down to the Marina de Lagos. This will take you past The Fort, Old Slave Market, Old City Walls. The old town with its squares and streets pedestrianised and full of International Restaurants, Tavernas and Bars. There are many activities including Hand Gliding, Micro Lites at the local aerodrome. The new race track 8 kms has open days and testing with top formula 1 teams and drivers. All water sports Sailing, Seafaris, Dolphin watching, Kayaks, Jet skis, Fishing,
Paragliding, Diving and Snorkelling.

Coast/Beach
5 10 mins walk Don Ana. There are steps to this beach, and Port de Mos beach nice long beach with good bar restaurants.
There are a few cove beaches by Don Ana with steep climbs also small naturist beach. Meia Praia beach one of the best in the Algarve 20 minutes walk or catch ferry across the estuary and walk along it for the 4 or 5 kilometres always somewhere to lay here. A short drive up the west coast brings you to some of the best surf in Europe and some stunning scenery of the Rocks'.

10 min drive Pennina golf 3 courses one 18 hole championship.

Faro Airport 50 minute drive up motorway.
Train from Faro to Lagos.approx 1.5 hours.
Car hire is not needed as most of the town is within walking distance. There is a bus stop outside the apartment building with good links for trains and buses for longer days out.
Some local companies offer full day and 2 day Trips (Seville, Lisbon, Fatima, Gibraltar, North Africa).

About the owner
My wife and I originally bought a boat in Lagos Portugal.
We purchased the boat 12 years ago, we planned to travel round the Med. All these plans changed when we left Lagos we just seemed to want to get back to Lagos. After holidaying here up to 10 times a year we decided to sell the boat and buy an apartment 7 years ago. We decided to buy another studio on the 6th floor, of the same building that we now live in. We now have many friends down here who all speak to us and are very friendly, also to guests who have stayed here. Since moving to Lagos, I am now doing airport transfers as back in England I had 20 years experience running my own taxi business. I also rent out mobility scooters. My wife helps with management of properties. We know the area quite well, any queries please just ask

The most breathtaking view of Lagos Bay and Monchique mountains. Guests have said "No photos can do this view justice".

There are some very good restaurants within 5 minutes walk which offer excellent food at reasonable prices.
More restaurants available in town 10 minutes walk with stunning view across the ocean. Beaches are within 5 to 10 minutes walk, from small cove beaches to larger beaches with some water sports.The marina has many trips from fishing to grotto trips and dolphin watching. Bus stop outside apartment building runs a circular trip round town and more beaches. A good mix of historic places to visit along with the new. Four good golf courses within 15 minute drive, nearest one 5 minutes.
