Coast/Beach
Meia Praia beach is a mere 10 minute walk providing 2.5 miles of sandy coast served by beach cafes and ideal for windsurfers. There are also some wonderful coves along this coast. The modern marina is just a 5 minute walk away where you can wander around little boutiques or enjoy the cafes along the marina. The railway station serving Faro and Lisbon etc. is across from the marina. The historic town of Lagos is less than 15 minutes where you can loose yourself in its quaint little streets.
Golf
Boavista golf club on the west side of the town is a 10 minute drive providing spa and gym and restaurant facilities. 10 minutes further west is Parque da Floresta Golf and country club with spa, gym and restaurant facilities. Palmares golf club to the east is just a 5 minute drive.
Travel
Faro Airport is a 50 minute drive by motorway and Lisbon airport is a 3 hour drive from Lagos. Car hire is available from all airports or our on site agent can recommend a local hire company with discounted prices. However a car is not essential unless you wish to travel to other towns or villages. Taxis are readily available and are reasonably priced. Public transport by train or bus is also available. Transport is provided for trips such as the aqua park or Zoomarine etc.

5 minutes to local marina. 10 mins to town centre. 50 minutes to airport. 30 minutes to Algarve Shopping Centre.

I live in Ireland with my partner. I have three grown up children. We love going down to Lagos.
Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We bought the apartment in Lagos as we love the area and the fact that it is not over developed. The town of Lagos is a lovely little town with some amazing restaurants which are very reasonably priced.
Unique benefits of the property
The apartment is only a short walk to the centre of Lagos and the local beach. Algarve Shopping Centre is just a half hour away where you will be able to find loads of bargains. There are many golf courses in the area and there are loads of activities for the children with a water park just a short 30 minute drive away. Western Algarve has some of the most amazing beaches and the town of Sagres is also a beautiful place for a leisurely walk. The apartment complex is a very safe and friendly place to spend a holiday with a very large main swimming pool, kids pool, tennis court and children play area. There is also the benefit of a shop and restaurant on the complex, with a larger supermarket just a 2 minute drive down the hill.
