Notes on accommodation
This apartment is great for families as has direct access to grounds so kids can run around until their hearts are content. Is fenced and gated all around so they can't get out either. Villa Sol have recently opened a new complex which is two minutes walk away, here there is a supermarket, coffee shop, newsagents, pub, bank and a mixture of shops - so very convenient. No smoking apartment. Will sleep an extra 2 children in cot or Z bed.
Accessibility
There are steep stairs down to the entrance so could be tricky, probably not ideal.
Outside
Large ground floor terrace area equipped with sun loungers dinning table and chairs. First floor balcony. Parking to the front of the building.
Coast/Beach
This area of Portugal has a number of award winning beaches within easy reach. Felisias beach at Vilamoura - 5 minutes drive away, and there is a shuttle bus to Villa Sols private beach. Quinta do lago and Val do lobo are also relatively near by.
Golf
Guests at the apartment receive 30% discount at Villa Sol's own 27 hole championship course. There is also a driving range and golf academy. There are numerous other golf courses within a very short distance.
Travel
Faro Airport is 20-25 minutes drive away from Villas sol. Now that the new complex is open at Villa Sol is open a car is not essential, but it is nice to be able to get out and see a bit of Portugal.
Distances
Three restaurants, a pub, coffee shop, supermarket, bank and a few other shops within a minutes walk.
Val do lobo 15 min drive.
Quinta do lago 15 min drive.
Villamoura 5 min drive.
Water park 5 min drive.
Further details
The 5 star Villa Sol hotel offers a variety of additional high quality restaurants. Villa sol health Spa is also a minutes walk from the apartment. There are tennis courts and a tennis academy on site.
Booking notes
25% non refundable deposit on booking with balance required 4 weeks to arrival date. An additional £150 deposit will be added to cover breakages and damages refundable within 10 days of departure.
