The high vantage point allows fabulous views of the resort, golf course and most importantly the sea view, especially beautiful at sunset. Built-in BBQ with large table and chairs for outside dining. The villa's close proximity to the beach and golf club makes it a must for families and golfers!

There is an optional charge of £100 per week to heat the swimming pool.
Changeover day
Change over day is usually Saturday although there is some flexibility. As villa needs to be cleaned for the next client we ask that the villa is vacated by 10. 30 am. Arrival is from 3. 00pm.

Outside
Large mature garden planted with a variety of local flowers, bushes and trees. The private pool is 10m x 5m and can be heated if required at an additional cost, the pool is not over looked. Sun loungers are provided and the garden and pool has sun all day. There is a large outside dining area with table and chairs close to custom built BBQ.
Coast/Beach
Praia Del Rey beach is a slow 5 min walk from the villa. The wonderful beach which spans over 2km is fantastic to sunbath or experience the walk. A 15 mins drive will take you to the famous surfing beaches at Baleal or Peniche.
Golf
Praia Del Rey has an award winning 72 par golf course, rated as the best in Portugal and 15th in Europe. The course is part links and part wooded. It is a good test for all handicap abilities. The Golden Eagle course is 25 mins by car and Campo Real approx 45 mins. Discounted green fee rates are available through golf booking agencies. Excellent golf shop and club house, golf academy with PGA-qualified teachers. Driving range, putting green and bunker practice area.
Minimum handicap required: Men 28 & Ladies 36.
A handicap certificate is required when booking in at the club house.
Travel
Praia Del Rey is under an hours drive from Lisbon Airport along the A8 motorway. The airport is served by Easyjet, BA, TAP and Monarch.
Distances
Serra del Rey: 5 mins.
Baleal: 15 mins.
Obidos Medieval town: 20 mins.
Peniche: 20 mins.
Caldas da Raina: 25 mins.
Lisbon: 50 mins.
Further details
Small shop on resort selling most basic requirements including fresh bread daily. Supermarkets a short drive away in Serra del Rey or close to the medieval town of Obidos. Larger supermarkets in Caldas da Rainha and Peniche. Cash machines at resort club-house and hotel.
There are many local places of interest, including the famous walled town of Obidos.
The locals are all very friendly and welcome the opportunityfor you to practice your portugese.
The Silver coast is still typical portugal and has not been spoilt with over development.
There are many local restaurants to try, a list is in the Villa of our favorite with contact telephone.
The Golf club house has an excellent restaurant with VERY freindly service.
The Marriot 5 star hotel is 3 mins walk and has bars and dining, gym and an excellent spar.
Booking notes
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. 25% deposit will secure booking. The balance is required 8 weeks before stay. £500 deposit to cover breakages which is refunded the following week after inspection by cleaning agent. There is an optional charge of £100 per week to heat the swimming pool. Food and drink welcome pack can be arranged.
