Parking in driveway. Set in a typical unspoilt Portugese area so not touristy. Hypermarket + Mall at Faro but local shopping in village and Loule. 20 minutes to Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo resorts for Golf, sandy beaches walking and birdwatching.

Area around heated pool is spacious and not overlooked as it is walled for child safety. Outside shower by pool. Off road parking. Villa off quiet lane with footpath to village.
Accessibility
Not suitable for wheelchairs as split level villa.
Outside
Colourful gardens with Hibiscus,Pool is walled around for safety and privacy. Lots of other Mediterranean plants. Almond, orange and lemon trees provide a shaded area. Pool area has plenty of room for sunloungers and there is built in seating all along the back wall the length of the pool. Swing on the garden seat and enjoy a barbecued meal seated at the large Portuguese tiled table. Built in BBQ. Outdoor shower by pool. The private heated pool is 10 x 4m and is approx 1.5m deep.
Coast/Beach
Good white sand beaches available at Faro Beach 15 mins and Vale de Lobo 20 mins drive. Farol beach which is stunning is by ferry from Olheo about half an hour drive.
Golf
There are many Golf courses within a 20 minute drive of the villa at Vale de Lobo and Quinta do Lago.
Special interest holidays
Good area for birdwatching. Excellent touring area with easy access to Motorways. Spanish border 40 minutes drive. Roman Site about 20 mins at Estoi. Natural Parks within easy reach. Many boat trips to islands with beautiful sandy beaches from Faro, Olheo and Tavira. Good local restaurants nearby. Many golf courses approx half an hour by taxi or car.

Faro airport is 15 mins drive. Car hire recommended.

Santa Barbara de Nexe local village 10 mins walk on footpath. Loule historic market town 15 mins drive. Estoi Roman ruins 10 mins drive.

About the owner
Very much a second home to my husband, myself and two grown up children. We have many friends in the area as we have been escaping here for over a decade.
Why the owner chose a home in this location
This is a quiet peaceful area and with the private pool it is a great place to relax and have a BBQ. It is about 10 minutes walk along a footpath to reach Sta Barbara de Nexe where there are restaurants, cafes, Post office, bank, shops and a pharmacy. There are amazing non touristy fabulous beaches within easy access and the historical Roman ruins at Estoi and Castle at Tavira are all worth a visit
Unique benefits of the property
Quiet and peaceful but within easy access of golf courses. Will appeal to people of all ages and with a variety of interests. Very comfortable villa with all mod cons.
