The property is a superb 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, ground floor apartment with fantastic views of the 17th hole at Boavista. The fantastic resort includes a new clubhouse, indoor pool, gym and spa, 2 restaurants as well as tennis coaching facilities and a football school. The apartment is air conditioned and comprises of a spacious hall from where you access the large kitchen, complete with all modern appliances. The living room has a dining area for 6 people, comfortable sofas (1 of which is a sofabed) as well as a 32" flat screen TV with UK Satellite and a CD player. 2 sets of double patio doors give access to a spacious terrace with views of the 17th hole. The master bedroom has a 5ft 6" queen bed and incorporates a luxury ensuite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds and the apartment is completed by a well appointed house bathroom. The secure swimming pool complex (accessed by a swipe card) is a short 200m walk away and has a superb 20m pool as well as a baby pool.

Changeover day
Changeover day may be flexible but is likely to be Saturday or Sunday at peak times. Check-in is from 4pm on day of arrival with checkout at 10am on the final day of your stay.

Notes on accommodation
All the main living and bedroom areas are air conditioned and the apartment is kept cool further through the provision of electronic roller blinds on all the windows. The apartment is suitable for young children and has a cot and highchair.
Accessibility
The end plot ground floor location makes it particularly accessible with no steps in any part of the apartment.
Outside
The apartment's ground floor location means there are patio areas to the front and back of the property and its position as an end plot affords a feeling of real space. There are tables and chairs to both patios as well as 2 sun loungers. The views over the signature 17th hole from the front of the property are magnificent.
Coast/Beach
There are some great beaches to go to close to the apartment with Lagos having 5 great beaches within a 10 minute drive. Best of these are Meia Praia and Porto de Mos. Praia De Luz is also just a 5 minute drive away. The best local beach is probably Burgau, which is a 15 min drive from the apartment and is blessed by a secluded location as well as a fantastic beach bar and restaurant.
Golf
The property is located on the superb Boavista 18 hole golf resort. The course has recently added a fantastic new clubhouse and includes a superb golf academy, driving range as well as one of the best short game practice areas on the Algarve. Guests enjoy discounts on green fees when presenting their resident card.
Travel
The nearest airport is Faro which is located 80km to the east but is connected to Lagos by the recently constructed A22 dual carriageway that makes transit times around 1 hour. Car hire will not essential is recommended to ensure you can take advantage of all of the local towns and beaches. The apartment is a short taxi ride or 5 min drive from the centre of Lagos.

Lagos Marina - 2km (with boat trips to do dolphin watching as well as visting the coasts "grottos")
Further details
There is a very good Intermarche supermarket 2 minutes drive from the apartment. Lagos has an extensive range of banks, shops and restaurants and has a lively but very pleasant nightlife.
There are numerous local villages with excellent restaurants, well worth looking out are the Beach Bar at Burgau, Antonios at Meia Praia, the Boavista Golf Clubhouse as well as Boia at Salema
The resort itself has a tennis academy, golf academy as well as running a soocer school for children during major holiday periods.

Check-in is from 4pm on the first day with checkout at 10am on the last day. Keys and all relevant information will be made available from the careways office on site, a secure key box with code is provided for guests arriving outside of normal office hours.
