Kitchen: The kitchen is modern and well equipped with all necessary amenties including granite surfaces, cooker, hob, fridge freezer, microwave, washing mashine, dishwasher, plentiful supplies of crockery, glasses, cutlery and utensils etc.
Living Rooms: The very large spacious living area easily accommodates four sofas plus an eight seated dining table. It is tastefully furnished, decorated to a high standard, with satellite TV and large fireplace containing efficient log burning stove.
Other: The large part covered terrace has an inbuilt BBQ. For eating al fresco the covered area contains a family size table & chairs also a comfortable sitting area with a cane suite & 3 seater swing.

Notes on accommodation
The villa offers the discerning person spacious accommodation, in private gardens, a short drive from town. It has everything to offer both young and older members of the family.

Outside
The private walled swimming pool is gated for child safety and well equipped with sun beds, chairs, tables, and sun shades. There are four private terrace areas one with large covered area, barbecue, large dining table and chairs, all equipped with patio furniture. The whole property is securely enclosed by fences walls and gates.
The garden also features numerous sources of fresh fruit, including oranges, lemons, apricots and grapefruits.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches are via Tavira, a ten minute drive away and also at Barril where you can walk or board the miniature train (popular with the children). The Algarve coast extends for 150 kilometres along fantastic beaches of white sand. You can explore their variety from both the east and west of Tavira.

Golf
Golf is of world standard with golfing tournaments being played in the area. Some of the 20 plus golf courses include the nearby 18-hole Benamor course and the 36 holes of Quinta de Ria. Also at Castro Marim a fabulous 36 hole coures is available. A short drive to the Quinta do Lago area takes you to some of Europe´s top courses.

Special interest holidays
Jeep safari excursions and boat trips up the Guadiana river can be arranged locally.
Trips to Lisbon or Seville by either train or coach can be taken from Tavira.

Travel
The nearest airport is the international aiport of Faro about a 30 minute drive from the Villa.
Car hire is recommended. A very cheap and reliable taxi service is available. Also trains and buses can be used from Tavira.

Distances
The nearest village is Santo Estêvão a 10 minute walk from the villa. The nearest town is Tavira, a gateway to many wonderful places. It is to the east of Faro a most charming town with the lovely houses being mirrored in the calm waters of the Gilao river. Its narrow streets have a Portugese charm. Churches abound, with at least 32 to visit. For the adventurous there should never be a dull moment, but for those looking for peace and quiet a more perfect location would be hard to find.

Further details
Shopping is not a problem, with well stocked supermarkets in the village. A visit to the local markets is a must where fresh fish and home grown produce are available. The large shopping complex, Forum Algarve, in Faro is a shopaholics paradise. There is a Bowling green a short drive away. Just through the village is a wonderful planetarium, well worth booking an evening visit. A treat is in store when you visit the famous waterfalls of Pego de Inferno, or the Roman ruins near Estoi.

A 50% deposit secures your booking. The remainder is payable four weeks before arrival, parties with more than 2 children may be asked to pay a refundable deposit in case of damage to furnishings. A brochure with more villa details is available on request.
