Casa Jasmina is a completely private and self-contained part of the main house, with its own parking area, own private gardens and secluded swimming pool, and private entrance door. There is a cafe and restaurant within easy walk, and a sleepy traditional village 3 mins drive away offers another restaurant, post office, pharmacy, mini-markets, tavernas and cafes. It’s only 6 mins drive from beautiful medieval Tavira with its riverside restaurants, and several uncrowded golden sandy beaches. Casa Jasmina has a wonderful tranquil countryside setting and is the perfect place to relax and restore your spirits.

Saturday is our changeover day. You may arrive/ leave on any day, but the weekly rate is charged from Saturday to Saturday.

Owner managed, with good attention to detail.
There are insect screens on on all windows and doors.
Ceiling fans in all bedrooms.
Comfortable beds and plump sofas.
Digital satellite TV (with BBC programmes, not Sky) and CD/tape player.
Maid service, linen, towels (except for beach/pool) are provided.
Cot and highchair available.
Reduced price is for two people using one bedroom/ one bathroom.
On day of arrival you may enter villa after 3pm, please vacate the villa by 10am on day of departure.

Outside
Casa Jasmina stands on a hillside with outstanding views of the countryside, with its ancient olive trees, vineyards and orange groves. The house and private pool are surrounded by beautiful sub-tropical gardens with many exotic plants and trees. Palms, jasmine, pistachio, mimosa, pepper and almond trees fringe the whole area. Patio doors open onto a partially-covered terrace which offers some shade, and four steps lead up to the large sunbathing deck and the secluded palm-fringed swimming pool. The pool is approximately 6 x 3.5 metres. You can dine ‘alfresco’ under the stars, beside the pool which may be floodlit at night. Barbecue, sun loungers, patio furniture, and parasols are provided. Casa Jasmina is the perfect place to relax and restore your spirits.
Coast/Beach
The Eastern Algarve is a beautiful unspoilt area, with miles of uncrowded golden beaches, ancient Moorish towns and picturesque villages. Beaches in the Eastern Algarve are wide, sandy and safe for children, with the EC Blue Flag for cleanliness. The nearest beach is about 12 minutes drive from Casa Jasmina. Refreshments and meals, sun-beds and parasols, are available on all local beaches. Particularly beautiful is Tavira Island which can be reached by a short ferry ride.

Only 25 minutes from Faro airport. Flights to Faro Airport with eg. EasyJet; Monarch; Thompson-fly, Ryanair; British Airways, (BMI flies Faro to Birmingham, Cardiff, East Midlands), etc. Can also fly to Lisbon, or SPAIN - Seville, Cadiz, Jerez. Car hire is recommended to get the best from the Eastern Algarve.

Tavira is a picturesque town, with narrow cobbled streets, beautiful riverside gardens, many restaurants, old palaces, castle ruins and ancient Roman bridge spanning a wide river. There is a large daily vegetable and fish market, a wide variety of small shops, and a good selection of river-side restaurants where you may eat alfresco.
During the summer evenings Tavira hosts many cultural activities - from the visiting national ballet, and classical concerts in one of Tavira’s ornate ancient churches, to local folk dancing under the stars in the central gardens and jazz at the amphitheatre by the river. Local activities include: Boat trips, windsurfing and water slide parks. Spain is only 30 minutes away, and Seville can be reached in 1.5 hours drive.

Wow! It is the only time we have found that a rental property was even better than the photographs published! The decorations and furnishings are excellent. The bedrooms are large, and the beds very comfortable. Every detail was finished to the highest standard.
