The nearest beach is 12 minutes walk away and there are fantastic cliff walks just a few minutes from the villa.
Golf
The nearest courses in Carvoeiro are Vale do Milho (9 hole, par 3) and Gramacho and Pinta 2 x 18 hole courses at the excellent Pestano Golf Club. Further afield but still easily accessible are the well known courses of Palmares, Penina, Salgados and Boavista. Additonally there are a multitude of famous courses in the Quinta do Lago/Vale do Lobo/Vilamoura areas.
Special interest holidays
Silves and Lagos are towns of historic interest and Carvoeiro, Portimao and the Algarve Shopping Complex at Guia provide a wide range of shops.
Entertainment for Children - Zoomarine and Slide & Splash are both within a short drive.
Travel
Faro Airport is 45 minutes away. Car hire is preferable but not essential because Rocha Brava provide a free mini-bus service to and from Carvoeiro.

Carvoeiro is 10 minutes away by car or bus.

There are mini supermarkets and bars/restaurants both on-site and nearby. The large Intermarche Supermarket between Carvoeiro and Lagoa is accessible by car or bus.
