The nearest beach is 12 minutes walk and there are fantastic cliff walks just a few minutes away. This resort is excellent for children and all other holiday requirements especially golf and walking.

Communal gardens surround the property. This is a first floor apartment with no accommodation above or on either side.
Coast/Beach
Rocha Brava is built on the cliff top overlooking the sea. Coastal walks and beaches are easily accessible.
Golf
The nearest courses in Carvoeiro are Vale do Milho (9 hole, par 3) and Gramacho and Pinta, 2 x 18 hole courses at the excellent Pestana Golf Club. Further afield but still easily accessible are the well known courses of Palmares, Penina, Salgados and Boavista. Additionally, there are a multitude of famous courses in the Quinta da Lago/Vale do Lobo/Vilamoura areas.
Special interest holidays
Walking - excellent cliff walks in both directions and many more in land.
Tennis - The Rocha Brava resort has a unique 4-court Tennis Club and Gymnasium for residents and guests. Club tennis takes place every afternoon at 4pm and again on a Sunday morning. Courts can be rented throughout the day for personal games.
Silves and Lagos are towns of historic interest and Carvoeiro, Portimao and the Algarve Shopping Complex at Guia provide a wide range of shops.
Entertainment for Children - Zoomarine and Slide and Splash are both within a short drive.
Travel
Faro airport approximately 45 minutes. Car hire recommended but not essential. Regular free mini-bus service to nearest town - Carvoeiro.

10 minutes drive to Carvoeiro.

There are mini supermarkets and bars/restaurants both on site and nearby. Further afield is the large Intermarche Supermarket.
