Just 5 mins drive to the centre of the historic city of Lagos, marina and Praia da Luz (one of the many beautiful beach resorts along this part of the Western Algarve coastline).

Fabulous beaches are within a 10 minute stroll. The villa is only a 5 minute drive to Praia da Luz, one of the many beautiful beach resorts along this part of the Western Algarve coastline.
Golf
With immaculate courses, fantastic weather, breathtaking views – golf just doesn’t get any better than this. The Algarve offers a huge choice of courses, amid them some of the finest in the world. Among the closest is Quinta da Boavista, just 3 minutes from the villa. This is a championship course bordered by beautiful sub-tropical landscaping set against a backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean with panoramic views. 5 minutes away is Palmares, a perfect mix of links and inland golf, running behind the beach of Meia Praia, boasting beautiful views over Lagos Bay and the Monchique Mountains. For a more physical challenge there is Parque da Floresta, a course running through valleys and eucalyptus covered ravines. And for those golfers want to walk in the steps of their heroes, there is Penina, the Championship Course that has been home to the Portuguese Open. Designed by Sir Henry Cotton, former Open champion himself.
Further details
Lagos and its surrounding area offers plenty of things to keep all the family occupied. Within easy reach are the children’s favourites Slide & Splash Water Park, with thrilling tubes and chutes, and Zoo Lagos, with monkey islands and petting areas. For a more adventurous day out try the Krazy World Amusement Park which includes a karting track. The Zoomarine, Oceanographic facility allows up close encounters with sharks and dolphins. For those who prefer watching the wildlife in its natural environment there are dolphin watching boat trips which depart from the marina daily. There is also horse riding, tennis and fishing trips available locally. There's certainly something for everyone!
