This beautifully decorated apartment is just a stone's throw from a lovely sheltered bay, and a few streets from the charming centre of Sao Martinho. The Silver Coast is famous for stunning sandy beaches and world-class waves, yet Sao Martinho has a picturesque sheltered beach that is perfect for families with children. The apartment building is new and modern, with a very lovely poolside garden area. It is on the south side of town, close to an excellent supermarket and next to a very quiet train station.

Bedrooms: Bedrooms 1 and 2 have double beds, with bedroom 2 has access to the rear balcony there you can have breakfast overlooking the pool.
Bedroom 3 has two twin beds, one under the other.
All bedrooms have large built-in wardrobes.
Bathrooms: There is an en-suite bathroom to bedroom 1, comprising a shower, WC and basin.
Bathroom 2 has a bath, shower, bidet, basin and WC.
Kitchen: The kitchen contains all the necessities, cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster.
Living Rooms: A very large lounge/diner with a 2 seater sofa and 3 easy chairs. There is TV/Dvd player and sound system with iPod docking. There is a long dining table and refectory-style benches.
Other: 2 large balconies, big enough for the whole family to sit out on.
The apartment has a large private garage for parking cars etc, essential in the summer when parking is at a premium.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. The house keeper (Maureen) cleans the apartment at 12:00 on day of departure. We do ask you to clean the apartment towels in the morning of departure using the apartment's washing machine.

 

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is heated by gas central heating, instructions for which will be provided. All windows have electric blinds, which must be closed when the property is vacated.

Accessibility
There is a lift to the apartment on the 1st floor, after going up 4 steps inside the entrance.

Outside
Outside is a large shared landscaped garden with pool. There is a selection of garden furniture for use on the balcony and garden. There are showers and toilets in the pool area. There is secure underground parking and additional free parking at the front of the building.

Coast/Beach
The sheltered, sandy beach is approximately 200 metres away. It is unique for the Atlantic in that it is shallow and safe, with very small waves. Just 15km away is Nazare, a much wilder, more treacherous beach!

Golf
The nearest golf courses are at Praia del Rey, Rio Maior, Vimeiro and Peniche.

Travel
60 minutes drive north from Lisbon Portelo International Airport, along the A8. About 2 hours drive south from Porto and 2.5 hours drive north from Faro.

Nazare 15km. Obidos 26km. Alcobaca 20km. Lisbon 110km. (Airport 82km). Caldas da Rainha 17km. Peniche 50km. Praia del Rei 43km.

Further details
Sao Martinho is a small town, but there are ample facilities, including several shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and a bank.

Booking notes
20% deposit required at time of booking. Full balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. £150 returnable deposit required for breakages.

Many thanks for letting us stay in your lovely apartment - we had a very successful and relaxing vacation in SMP!
Maureen was very kind and took good care of us when we arrived.
The apartment exceeded our expectations: it was bright and spacious, the big balconies to opposite directions a big plus, the pool area probably on of the best in the area and the location and beach excellent.
We really enjoyed the good food and the all the lovely fresh fruits and vegetables from the fruit lady by the train station.

The apartment was excellent, loads of room, clean, well equipped, good sized pool etc etc etc. We had a super time and would certainly recommend it to our friends. We tried to leave it as we found it, ie clean and tidy.
