People tell us we have the best view in the whole resort. This is L11 a luxury village house which has been built to very high specifications. It sits in a small prestigious resort with landscaped grounds and enjoys the most breathtaking sea and coastal views. The property has air-conditioning / heating, 3 large terraces and the use of the large resort pool which also has a toddler pool and a raised small sea view pool. The fishing village of Salema is a seven minute walk down the hill and has not only the great sandy beach but numerous very good local restaurants and bars. You can get the catch of the day off the boats in the morning if you are a keen cook! Parque da Floresta is a few minutes in the car and has been voted one of the Top Ten Algarve golf courses. Here there are also tennis courts and kids football camps.

Notes on accommodation
This house has a no smoking policy. If you wish to hire cots or highchairs please ask. Stair gates are not suitable for our stairs although the house is child friendly! The house does have underfloor heating in the bedrooms and bathrooms however if you wish to use this an additional charge of £45 per week will be charged and you need to state at the time of booking that you will wish to use this facility. The bedrooms have wall air-con/heating units as does upstairs living area which also has a wood burning stove. Please note that there is wifi connection but it has to be requested and a router hired and installed from the resort.
Accessibility
Sadly not suitable for wheelchair users due to stairs.
Outside
There are 3 private terraces all with incredible sea views, and there is seating and a table on two terraces while the third terrace has sun loungers. The bedroom terrace has a further small, lawned section in front and to the side the sea view here is restricted although still lovely.
Coast/Beach
Salema beach is a 7 minute walk away down a steep hill and is covered in beautiful golden sand framed by cliffs either side, the beach has 2 very good restaurants Altlantico and Boia. There are many beaches along the western Algarve: Zavial, Martinhal (windsurfing), Armado (surfing), Burgau (sheltered).
Golf
Parque da Floresta golf course is 5 minutes away in the car. The course is 18 holes par 71 and measures 5,712m from the white tees. There is an PGA approved Golf Academy and driving range, golf pro shop and Golf Pro. PDF also has a short game area and golf club hire and repairs. The Western Algarve is bountiful in golf courses and there are a number within a short drive. Guests at the view can also book the following activities at Parque da Floresta reception: Horse riding, Boat trips, Bowling, Tennis, Canoeing, Archery, Jeep Safari and other excursions.
Travel
The nearest airport is Faro International Airport and is 1 hours drive away.
Distances
Salema village is a 5 minute walk away down a steep hill and has a handful of shops, with some good cafes, bars and restaurants overlooking the beach. Cosmopolitan Lagos is 20 minutes drive and has many places of historic interest, traditional architecture and a fantastic marina and beach. They have a market there the first Saturday of each month. And numerous shops and restaurants, there are also a good few night clubs there.
Further details
Babysitting services can also be booked through reception, as can taxis and car hire. Guests at The View can also gain free access to Parque da Floresta indoor heated pool, gymnasium, sauna, steam room and spa bath.
