This well equipped, fully air-conditioned penthouse apartment in the Quinta da Gomeira complex was completed in 2006 to a luxury specification. It has two bedrooms and an open plan lounge with a double bed settee. The apartment boasts one of the very best positions on the complex, overlooking the newly constructed church and sea views. The outside space enjoys sunshine all day long. The apartment is ideally situated within walking distance of the beautiful fishing village of Cabanas with good restaurants, cafe bars, supermarkets, bank/cashpoints, quaint shops, butchers and bakers. Also you will find a local fresh fish, vegetable, salad & fruit market. A 2 minute boat ride (1 euro) takes you to the stunning blue flag Cabanas beach, with glorious 3km of white sand, beach bar & cafe, watersports, sun beds, parasols, showers & toilets. Cabanas is only a 20 minute drive to the border of Spain (and Ayemonte). The town has a regular train service providing access to the rest of the Algarve.

Changeover day
Changeover dates are flexible. We will always try and accommodate your times. However, we may ask you to vacate by 10:00 (if we have new guests arriving).

Linen and towels are included. Cleaning is once per week prior to arrival included in rental charge. Extra cleaning is available and can be arranged on site and paid locally. Guests are asked to provide own towels for beach and pool. |

Outside
The main advantage of this penthouse apartment is the outside space. We have 3 terraces. The upper terrace has 4 sunbeds with cushions/tables/parasols. The main lower terrace has large 8 seater dining table, BBQ and comfortable seating area (sofa and two chairs/table). We also have a small breakfast terrace (leading off from the kitchen).
Coast/Beach
The apartment is a short stroll from Cabanas's waterfront. A two minute boat ride takes you across the river to the beach. Boats cost 1 euro and run throughout the day. The beach has its own cafe bar, parasols, sunbeds, jet ski and paddle boat hire. Cabanas has coastline stretching to Spanish town of Ayemonte (20 minute drive) and the the rest of the Algarve.
Golf
There are four local courses: Benamor, Quinta Da Cima, Quinta Da Ria and Castro Marim. All 4 offer different challenges to all levels of golfer.

Special interest holidays
We have two average quality bicycles for your use. The east algarve offers extensive cycle routes. Further details of this can be provided.
Travel
Cabanas is 30 minutes drive from Faro airport. We can arrange a taxi (45 euros) or we can recommend several car hire companies. Alternatively, cabanas can be reached by public transport (bus and then a train). Further details of this can be provided.
Booking notes
30% deposit required at time of booking with full payment to be made 8 weeks prior to arrival date. Payment should be made by personal cheque.
