Our beautiful, family villa, is on the exclusive Alto Golf & Country Club resort, close to the fishing village of Alvor. Set in secluded mature gardens with a private 12 x 5m south facing pool, BBQ terrace and Sky TV. Offers exclusive comfortable homely facilities plus our guests benefit from full automatic use of the Country Club’s amenities which include floodlit tennis courts & discounts on green fees at 3 other Pestana courses. Alvor,20 minute walk or 5 minutes car drive, offers many very good restaurants. The picturesque sandstone cliffs nearby offer beautiful coastal walks & secluded sandy coves which link to the long sandy Alvor beach. Dolphin watching, canoe trips & river trips are all available locally from Alvor harbour or relax and watch the local fishermen or visiting yachts in the inner lagoon at the harbour-side cafes. There is some evening entertainment in the main street of Alvor. The lively resort of Praia de Rocha and the town of Portimao are both approx 5km away.

The above minimum weekly rate is for 4 people staying in our villa, additional charge for extra people up to a maximum of 6 adults + 2 children. Under 2s free.
Changeover day
Negotiable. Arrival 3pm. Departure by 11am. Guests are met at the property on arrival by our local representative.

Outside
Villa 33 is situated in cul-de-sac and accessed via white iron gates and cobbled drive with car port area at rear of property. Garden to rear and front of villa tended weekly. Table and 6 chairs in walled patio outside kitchen. Large terrace around east and south sides of villa with 6 sun loungers plus a further table and 6 chairs and private 12 x 5 metre pool with depth markings indicating the shallow integral steps at one end and metal ladder in deep end. Can be attractively lit up at night and is cleaned weekly. Outdoor shower. Rubbish collected daily. First floor e/s/w terrace with built in BBQ accessed via outdoor stairs or master suite. Beautiful views. Outside lights on villa and gate posts. Security grills to windows and house alarm.
Coast/Beach
The picturesque sand-stone cliffs nearby are a 20 minutes walk/5 minute drive and offer beautiful coastal walks and secluded sandy coves including the Presidents beach, which links to the long sandy Alvor beach. The golden beaches at Praia de Rocha are 5km drive.
Golf
We are a short walk (to the end of the cul-de-sac) from the 9th hole of the Alto Golf Pestana Golf Resort an 18 hole - par 72 golf course which was the last one designed by Sir Henry Cotton. The front nine have lovely views towards Lagos bay and the back nine boasts the longest par 5's in Europe. The Clubhouse, overlooking the 18th has a terrace with far reaching views toward the Monchique hills and Portimao. Breakfast, brunch or lunch are available and light snacks, teas and coffees are available all day. There is a Pro shop, driving range and lessons are available from the resident professionals. Guests benefit from discounts at three other Pestana Golf Resorts - Gramacho, Vale da Pinta and Silves which are all within easy driving distance. Golf courses at Vilamoura 50km 45 minute drive.

Faro airport is a 50 minute 65km drive. Car hire is recommended.

Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to confirm the booking. If booking made less than 6 weeks before departure full payment must be made with booking. Balance of payment to be made 6 weeks before departure. A breakage deposit of £300 is required and must be paid with the balance this will be refunded as soon as possible after completion of the rental, less any damage, repair, breakage or additional costs, if incurred.
