Some of us have more fun than others!
About the owner
we are a family from Cork Ireland and we share the apartment.
It has served us well since we bought it 5 years ago.
The location is second to none and all guests are thrilled with it's location 1 minute from Vilamoura Beach and also next door to the Crowne Plaza Hotel and the Vilamoura Casino.
The Marina is 7 mins away.
We all get out for weekends but the ones with the kids do the longest run of 2 weeks at a time in the summer and they love it.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
the area is 9 miles from the airport so 30 mins door to door.
the Quarteira town is where the portuguese people holiday with a vibrant fishing industry fish market gypsy market and shops.It is also cheaper to eat there than Vilamoura and is truly portuguese .It is 7 mins to one side of Vila Atlantida, the complex where we own the apartment.
On the other side 7 mins is the sophisticated Marina with lively night life with a variety of boat trips and restaurants etc.
Nearby to the west Albufueira , Lagos is down the coast and to the east is Faro itself .Tavira and Cabanas further along the coast on the east side of Faro are beautiful and all can be reached on a day trip.
Unique benefits of the property
sun coming in through the patio doors in the morning and Breakfast on the terrace after a wake -up swim in the pool.Usually the kids don't hit the pool until 11am or so.
Then a wander in Quartiera and delicious coffee before picking up a bit of fish for the terrace BBQ at lunch-time and a trip down to the beach and waves for the afternoon.Relax down there and watch the world go by with a book before back for shower and head to the Marina for some food and night life.
Of course golfers have 6 championship courses on their doorstep.
