Cabanas beach is a 2 minute boat ride. The beautiful historic town of Tavira is 5km away and is set along the River with plenty of restaurants, shops and bars and can be reached by local bus or train from Cabanas.

Notes on accommodation
Fully air-conditioned spacious apartment which is suitable for families and couples. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment.
Accessibility
Although a ground floor apartment, there are six steps leading from the pavement to the front door, lobby area. The pool area is accessible from the pavement through gates with a ramp leading down to the actual pool. There is a parking bay outside the apartment. All windows have shutters for shade and security and the front door has multi point locks.
Outside
Terrace with hardwood table and chairs. Communal pool and gardens are accessible through gates. One main pool, a baby pool and shower facilities with sunbeds and umbrellas are for the sole use of the apartments. Toilet facilities are available down a flight of stairs.
Coast/Beach
The apartment is a 15 minute walk to the seafront at Cabanas where you can jump on one of the water taxis taking you on a 2 minute boat ride to the unspoilt Cabanas Beach. The beach has its own cafe bar, changing facilities and toilets. Parasol, sunbed jet-ski and paddle boat hire are all available in season.
Golf
Benamore Golf Course is a 5 minute walk from the apartment however there are multiple courses which can be reached from the N125. Newly opened Jack Nicklaus signature courses at Monte Rei are only 15 minutes drive and are fantastic. Opening Spring 2008 is the course designed by Seve Ballesteros, located near to the Spanish Border (20 minute drive).
Travel
Faro airport is approx 30 minute drive away. Car hire is available at the airport or from operators in Cabanas itself. There is a local bus service running from Cabanas to Tavira or Conceicao the local train station is a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Whilst car hire is not essential, we would recommend it if you intend exploring the Algarve or venturing across the border to Spain which is only 25km from Cabanas.
Distances
The nearest town is Tavira (4km) and can be accessed by bus, train (2 stops), taxi or car. Faro is 35km away or Spain is just 25km in the opposite direction!
Further details
Cabanas is small fishing village with narrow streets, good selection of restaurants and bars, daily fish and vegetable market, supermarkets, post office, internet cafe, bank and ATM machines.
