Large apartment that can sleep 4 comfortably with two terraces, one downstairs and the other a very large sun terrace with BBQ and panoramic views. A short drive into Sao Bras and close to large towns like Faro and Tavira. Restaurants abound in the surrounding area. Spain is around 40km away.

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Long winter breaks have discounts available - please contact me to discuss prices. The longer the winter let the better the discount. These discounts are available from November to March.

Changeover day
Flexible changeover. Checkout by 11am. Arrivals after 2pm.

Kitchen: Kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and freezer. Iron and ironing board.
Living Rooms: The living area includes the sitting area and kitchen/diner. There is satellite TV with access to freeview channels.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Linen and towels included. Also beach towels available. Cleaning is weekly. The towels are changed once during the week and the linen weekly.

 

Notes on accommodation
With our compliments you will be provided with a welcome pack to include - bottled water, bread, butter, cheese, ham, orange juice, sugar, coffee, tea and wine.

Any additional requirements can be provided for, subject to a further charge. This is a non-smoking apartment. We are sorry but we do not allow pets. Wood-burning stove for the winter.

Outside
There are two terraces - the lower one has table and 4 chairs under a tree for shade (ideal for breakfast) and a large sun terrace that has a table, 6 chairs and umbrella. Also the BBQ is up here with a built in work surface.

Coast/Beach
A number of beaches are within easy driving from the apartment. There are the beaches to the west of Faro about 40 minutes away and lovely long sandy beaches to the east of Faro - again about 40 minutes drive away.

Golf
Championship courses are within easy driving distance. There are the well known courses in Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Largo and Vilamora as well as courses to the East around Tavira and Castro Marim.

Special interest holidays
The Ria Formosa National Park, renowned for its bird life, is less than 20 minutes drive away. There is an observatory on the road towards Tavira, about 10 minutes away. They are open most evenings weather permitting from sunset till late evening. Also in Tavira is a working 'Camera Obscura'. There are a number of walks available from Mesquita differing in length.

Travel
The airport is Faro which is served by many airports around Europe and is 18km away - 20 minutes or so. A car is essential for your holiday.

Distances
The town of Sao Bras is about 3 km away and the main supermarket is only 2km. The Spanish border is 40 odd kms - about 50 minutes. Faro is around 15km which is worth a visit. The A22 motorway takes you to all amjor Algarve towns with Lagos/Sagres in the west about 1½ hours away.

Further details
Sao Bras has a number of good local restaurants as well as a number of international menus.

The surrounding area has small local cafes and restaurants. Faro has a train station where you can catch a train to the Spanish border at San Antonia where a ferry can be caught to the Spanish town of Ayemonte.

Trains to the West (Lagos and Portimao) or even to Lisbon.

Booking notes
25% deposit on booking, balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. Provisional bookings will be held for 7 days awaiting email confirmation and deposit. A £150 breakages deposit will also be required with final payment, this will be fully refunded if there are no breakages.
