Outside barbecue area. 6 Loungers, table and 6 chairs for outside dining. Bathrooms all have showers. 15 minute drive to the picturesque medieval village of Obidos. Plenty of superb restaurants overlooking the lagoon and the Atlantic. Horse riding, vineyards and waterparks all within close proximity. Pets not allowed. Non smoking villa. Outside
The villa has two balconies 1 at the front & 1 at the back.
Pool is shared between a few villas with keys and doesnot get busy as the beach and lagoon is only a 5 min drive.
Coast/Beach
Lovely sandy beaches about 10 mins if walking & 5 mins driving. Lovely calm Lagoon waters a couple of mins driving. Body boarding, windsurfing, surfing and kite surfing all available.
Golf
Bom Sucesso championship golf course is 5 minute drive and opens for the first time on September 27th 2008.
Praia Del Rey is 5 minute drive it is set in pine forest, near Obidos lagoon, overlooking a long stretch of beautiful Atlantic ocean & the Berlengas island nature reserve, the front 9 is amongst the pine forest with the back nine over looking the sea and playing more like a links course. Its 6500 metres, par 72, the 4th, 13th, 14th, 15th holes are stunning as they are set along the coast. Many other courses nearby include Golden Eagle (30 minutes). Campo Real (30 mins) Penha Longa. Quinta Marinha. Golf do Estoril all within a 60 min drive. Restaurants and kids clubs and some activities are available at some of the above clubs.

Body boarding, windsurfing, surfing and kite surfing all available, also sailing, horse riding and bike riding. Also go karting a short drive also water parks near by

Lisbon airport 60 km (45 mins car)

Distances
Obidos medieval historical town with cobbled streets, gift shops, small cafes and restaurants, churches, all set within a castle 15 minute drive.
Caldas da Rainha large shopping area, with daily fruit & veg market designer shops, sports centre, hospital and large supermarkets, well worth a visit. 15 mins drive. Foz de Arelho opposite Perola da Lagoa, superb restaurants, lovely beach with bars. 20 mins drive. Peniche is a fishing town with boats to Berlengas island nature reserve, water park.
Further details
Local banks in Obidos, petrol garages within short distances. Supermarkets within 30 min drive. Train station in Caldas da Rainha. San Martino is a short drive away well worth a visit plenty to do, lovely calm beach sand dunes, lovely walk around the bay, loads of restaurants, bars, shops. bike hire. Fishing, pedaloes.
Booking notes
Email or call to check availability. A £250 deposit is required when booking and balance payable within 6 weeks of departure. A £200 refundable security deposit is required in case of any breakages.

Mr & Mrs L Taylor from Lincolnshire discribed the Villa as a peacful relaxing retreat within beutiful suroundings of the pine forest, and the sightseeing in and around where breathtaking.
Soa Martinho bay a 20 minute drive north was a worthwhile visit to see the cliff overlooking the sandy bay, and the shops and restaurants were all great.
