A 10 mile sand dune beach with stunning views back to Lagos on one side, and Alvor on the other. 20 min walk to the Alvor Lagoon, a large in land tidal water way with safe bathing areas.

Palmares Golf Course is nearby - 5 mins by car. Overlooked by apartment. Site is also related to Parque De Floresta with privileged rates.

60 mins from Faro airport. Hire of car is advisable to get maximum benefit of local areas and other beaches. Plenty to do and see whatever the conditions. Taxi from airport approx 80 euros. Train service direct to Meia Praia Station, just below apartment - 1.5hrs from Fara Town.

We enjoy travel, walking, skiing, sailing and eating out in nice places.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We immediately fell in love with the whole aspect. The property sits on a nice rural location elevated by 300 feet with a stunning view of the Meia Praia Beach looking south east towards Alvor covering the Alvor Lagoon and the coast line down past Praia de la Roche.
It is in a quiet location within easy reach of a major (but quiet beach) - with excellent beach bar/restaurants whilst being only a short drive to the Marina and local town of Lagos. An excellent package for the more discerning traveller.
The apartment is with a 5 star block and maintained to excellent standards. The quality of the build and the cleanliness is second to none.
Unique benefits of the property
We love the property for its unique panoramic views out to sea, giving a very relaxing feeling of space and warmth in the sun. Below us is open country land with a golf course off to the left and one of the largest sand beaches I have ever known that even in Summer is not crowded.
The town of Lagos offers many restaurants catering for all budgets and variety.
The warmth of the locals and the ex-pat community that lives there, really makes it home from home, but in a healthier living style.
The wine is great value for money and probably offers one of the cheapest ranges in Europe.
