The apartment is minutes walks to the 27 hole Vila Sol golf course which has hosted the Portuguese Open and within a 15 minute drive there are 12 golf courses including the Victoria Club which recently hosted the "World Cup of Golf", San Lorenzo and The Royal Course at Vale Do Lobo.

Travel
Faro Airport 20km/20 mins. Car hire is highly recommended. Taxis are available and quite reasonably priced.
Distances
Vilamoura Marina is within 5 mins drive offering a large and varied selection of bars, restaurants and casino. Many traditional restaurants within 10 mins (a comprehensive list has been compiled of the various eateries in the area). People spotting in the select resorts of Quinta Do Lago and Vale Do Lobo within 15 mins drive. The old town of Loule is within 10 mins offering a traditional Portuguese feel with many bars, restaurants and authentic markets. Spanish border only 45 mins.
