Accessibility
The villa is located high on the mountain side, therefore car access is required. The villa itself is spread over three large floors therefore wheelchair users would have difficulty accessing all areas.
Outside
Casa Barbara has a large terrace with table and chairs overlooking the pool and barbeque area. The pool is a private pool, and is fenced off for safety. There are sun loungers, and outdoor chairs available, and a large picnic table beside the pool area.
Coast/Beach
There are a variety of beaches all within a short drive from villa. The closest is Faro beach which is about 15 mins drive. Villamoura which is 20 mins drive has a beautiful beach with a large marina and a variety of bars, shops and restaurants.
Golf
There are over 20 golf courses across the Algarve including Villamoura, Vale de Lobo and Quinta do Lago which all have championship courses. Each of these is only a short drive away.
Travel
The nearest airport is Faro Airport which is about 15 minutes drive from the villa. Car hire is recommended.
Distances
Nearest town is Loule which is 6 kms away or a 5 minute drive. Loule has a selection of shops and a daily local indoor market. Santa Barbara is the nearest village, approximately 3 kms away. It has a local shop, petrol station, a pub, several restaurants and cash machine.
Further details
There a large mall on this side of Faro which has a wide selection of shops and restaurants. It has a Jumbo supermarket which is recommended for a large grocery shop.
There is a a water park located approximately 15 minutes drive away.
Booking notes
20% Non-refundable deposit is required at booking stage, with full balance to be paid 6 weeks before arrival. A deposit of £250 is required which is returnable within two weeks of vacating property. This is as insurance for breakages or other damage.
