Consisting of 1 double bedroom with private bathroom and 1 twin bedroom with en suite shower and wc. Lounge/reception area with sofa, wood burning stove and doors French doors leading out on to south facing terrace. Tea and coffee facilities in room. Breakfast is served inside or out on the south face terrace with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. We offer a continental buffet breakfast with a delicious selection of rolls, ham, cheese fruits, muesli, cereals, yogurt, tea, and coffee and fruit juice. Guests enjoy shared use of eco-friendly swimming pool (chlorine free), sun terrace, loungers, gardens and BBQ area. For B&B we can offer you a fridge to store food if you would like to use the BBQ and socialise with other guests. |

| These magnificent structures provide surprisingly spacious accommodation, reaching up to more than 6m high, adding to your generous living area. We currently have two 5m North American Tipis made of cotton canvas on a framework of locally sourced Eucalyptus wooden poles. Each 5m Tipi offers double bed, complete with luxurious bedding, cushions, towels, lamps and storage for clothes. Extra beds and bedding can be provided for more guests on request of booking. Outside you have shaded cooking and dining area with Gas 2 ring stove, BBQ, fridge and personal cooler box, cold water tap from our borehole. We also provide you with all your kitchen essentials from teapots to teaspoons. On site there are hot and cold showers, flush toilets, hand washing facilities and power supply for mobile phones and hair dryers. | |

Outside
Monte Joao Afonso is the perfect setting for a very special and memorable holiday where you can venture out to discover the delights and treasures of this charming region of Portugal. You are welcome to relax in our cushioned sun loungers. Sunbathe in perfect peace in our beautiful garden with its wonderful views overlooking the rolling hills and countryside. Swim in our environmentally and eco-friendly pool, its chlorine free! Guests are able to buy and pick their own organically grown vegetables. Go cycling, walking, bird watching, we are an ideal spot for painting and sketching, take a walk down by the stream when there has been little rainfall. We also have a BBQ area with table and chairs so you can feel free to mix with other guests.
Coast/Beach
If you fancy visiting some of the best beaches in the Algarve there are plenty to choose, Praia Da Rocha, Praia do Vau and Alvor, Praia Grande Praia do Molhe 15 mins drive, Lagos only 30 mins and many any other beautiful beaches in the Algarve can be reached within a short car journey, some are renowned for their excellent surf. Please feel free to email any questions to us. We can always organise you a special picnic with ice cold drinks for those hot summer days with 24 hours notice.
Golf
Moragado Golf course is just a 5 minute drive, turn right at the end of the track towards Portimao and you will see signs on your right hand side.
Course Description.
This course is the newest course to open in the Algarve. Lying to the north of Portimão it is laid out in a large 980 hectare estate through undulating small valleys. The immediate main characteristic factor is its large greens which place demand on good putting skills. Also, the accuracy of the player's shot will be questioned by deep aggressive bunkers.

Travel
Flying
Faro airport is approximately 45 mins by road. There are local companies who offer reasonably priced transfers to and from Faro. Alternatively it is possible to hire a car, which can be arranged from Faro or locally. We would recommend hiring a car to really enjoy this part of the Algarve.

Distances
Monchique is a 15 min drive the journey boasts many spectacular views with green and wooded mountain ranges of cork, chestnut and eucalyptus. This winding road is filled with wonderful restaurants, cafes and magnificent traditional shops offering a wide variety of souvenirs. The bustling town of Portimao is just 6km, the historical town of Silves 12km and 30 mins is the fantastic town of Lagos. They all are a must when you visit us in the Algarve.
