Accessibility
Please be aware our swimming pool is not cordoned off from the rest of the property therefore adults should take care and be responsible for watching over young ones.

Outside
Our newly built swimming pool is surrounded by new wooden fencing, garden borders and palm trees ensuring privacy at all times. You will find a BBQ in the sunken in the sunken courtyard. Quiet village location. Roof terrace has both dining table and chairs and sunloungers for guests use. There is also a drying room for wetsuits and surfboards. In addition there is an outside shower near the pool.

Coast/Beach
Local beach São Bernardino is less than 10 minutes walk away. Consolação beach is 2km drive from the apartments. Baleal and Peniche where you can find excellent surfing are just a 10 minute drive away.

Golf
We are located 15 minutes by car from Praia d'el Rey Golf & Beach resort, which won European gold resort of the year in 2007.
Botado golf course which is built near the dunes of Consolação is 2km away.

Travel
The nearest airport is Lisbon which is less than 1 hour's drive from Peniche. You can fly to Lisbon from the UK with BA, Easyjet, TAP and BMI baby - there are many attractive deals if booked well in advance. A taxi direct from the airport to the house is about 100 euros.

Distances
Lisbon is just over one hour's drive away (c. 60 miles/90 km) and makes a great day out, the castles and palaces of Sintra are spectacular and well worth a visit. Historic Obidos is 20 minutes' drive away.
Boat trips leave Peniche to the Islands of Berlenga - a nature reserve renowned for its birdlife.

In the local village you will find a cash machine, supermarket, bars, cafes, take away pizza restaurant plus a butcher and a grocer.
