This is a new apartment (2008) built and furnished to the highest specification. It has 2 bedrooms, one double with en-suite bathroom and spa bath and one twin bedroom. It has a second bathroom with a hydro massage shower. The large, spacious lounge/dining room is furnished throughout in solid oak with two leather sofas. Dining table with place settings for up to 6 people with finest Wedgwood china. A flat screen TV, Sky Freeview and DVD/CD player. The kitchen contains all modern equipment including oven, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Air-conditioning to bedrooms and lounge. There is a large balcony off the lounge and main bedroom overlooking the pool area and a second balcony accessed from the kitchen and second bedroom. The large swimming pool and surrounding area is shared by only 12 apartments. Lagos town centre is 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes in the car. It has many excellent restaurants and shops and you can book boat trips to the grotto's and to see the dolphins.

Electric shutters to all rooms. Safe installed in the wardrobes of bedroom 1. No smoking allowed in the apartment or on the balconies. No animals allowed. Please note there is some building construction in the Porto de Mos area.

Accessibility
On entering the main remote controlled condominium gates, there is a large surface parking area or underground car park. Unsuitable for disabled, wheelchair inaccessible.

Outside
The apartment block has well kept landscaped irrigated gardens, and secluded communal swimming pool with children's pool. The apartment balcony has an outdoor table and seating for 6 with a large parasol. There are 4 teak sunloungers/chair for the apartments exclusive use around the pool.

Coast/Beach
Porto de Mos beach is only a 5 minute walking distance from the apartment. There are 2 superb restaurants near the beach both serving international and local cuisine. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent. There is a separate water sports area. The whole area has an abundant choice of wonderful beaches and beach activities.

Golf
In the surroundings of Lagos there are at least 4 superb golf courses. The nearest is Boa Vista within 5 minutes drive from the apartment. Palares golf course is located just outside Lagos, approx a 10 minute drive from the town centre. Penina championship course and Parque de Floresta are all within 30 minutes of the town of Lagos.

Travel
Nearest international airport at Faro (80km) approx 60 minutes. Nearest railway station at Lagos (2km). Nearest motorway junction at Lagos (1km). At Faro Airport various car rental companies are present. Car hire is recommended if you want to take advantage of all the Algarve has to offer.

Further details
Porto de Mos is situated some 5 minutes drive from the historic town of Lagos in the Western Algarve. Lagos is steeped in history and with the waterfront dominated by the fort whilst the old town is surrounded by the old town wall. The marina is an example of modern Lagos. The town offers shops, bars and restaurants and has retained its traditional feel. There is an enviable choice of restaurants offering everything from lunch time snacks and evening dinner or just a relaxing coffee or cold drink. There are daily boat trips from the marina to see dolphins in their habitat, or take a trip to the grotto's, or more leisurely, there are half day or full day cruises.

Booking notes
Booking is made with a 30% deposit to secure booking. Full payment due 8 weeks before departure. A reserve deposit of £150 will be added to the balance figure. This is required to cover the cost of any damage/breakages or if apartment left in a dirty condition and will be returnable after our management team has inspected the property.
