300m walk from the sandy beach. Located very near to Praia dos Salgados beach, which itself extends over 7 km along the coast.

Golf
The Herdade dos Salgados Golf Course is already a postcard of Portuguese golf. Its proximity to the sea and an enormous variety of lakes make it a very interesting golf test and different from the other golf courses in the Algarve. 300 days of sun per year, enabling its use during the entire year, make it irresistible.
A recent renovation, under the charge of the renowned landscape architect Álvaro Mano, included the restructuring of hole 18 and the placement of a thousand olive trees to reinforce their characteristics as links.
Clubhouse with new facilities such as the restaurant and bar with outdoor service, spa, exclusive locker rooms and baths, video hall and the all new Golf Academy.

Travel
Faro airport is 49km away, approx 30 miles.
Car not essential but recommended.

Distances
Located very near to Praia dos Salgados beach, which itself extends over 7 km along the coast, the complex boasts a golf course and proximity to the Lagoas dos Salgados lagoons, areas that are part of the scenic National Ecological Reserve.
A short car journey (15 mins) to the Zoomarine where you can swim with the dolphins. There are also several water parks in the local area. Algarve shopping centre is only 15 minutes away.

Further details
Place's worth a visit are Sir Cliff Richard’s vineyards and winery which is in the village of Guia. You can also visit the historic towns of Loule, Silves, Faro and slightly further afield is the town of Portimao, and not forgetting a trip to the Monchique mountains. There are numerous golf courses up and down the Algarve, Salgados is only 300m away!
The Algarve is the most southern region of Portugal and it's one of Europe's favourite holiday destinations well known for glorious year round sunshine and excellent sandy beaches. These vary from secluded coves with amazing cliffs to vast stretches of golden sand all sea washed by the fresh and clear Atlantic ocean. Inland you will find quaint villages barely touched by tourism. Traces of the Moorish presence are still evident in the local architecture. The orange groves and blossoming almond trees add colour to this fertile region in contrast with the whitewashed traditional houses. Due to the fabulous weather the Algarve is ideal for many outdoor sporting activities such as water sports, golf in one of the numerous world-class golf courses, tennis, horse riding, and many more. The Algarve not only known for its cosmopolitan nightlife with many bars and clubs but also for the many waterside restaurants serving fresh fish and "cataplana" (a local shellfish speciality).
Idyllic temperatures (average temperature in winter of 14°C and 24°C - 57°F and 75°F - in summer, rarely going below 12°C - 53°F- during winter and reaching as high as 28°C or 30°C - 82°F or 86° F - in July and August), which are ideal for playing golf and other sports.

No smoking inside property.
Bookings are taken either by phone or email. A £250 non-refundable deposit is taken at the time of booking to secure the booking.
Due to the high standards of the apartment a further £350 is taken as security to cover any damage, although this should be refunded in full (within 2 weeks of departure) as we expect occupants to treat the property with maximum respect. All occupants must abide by the condominium's good behaviour rules. All payments are made in UK Pounds
