This is a modern and spacious three bedroom apartment, located 30 km north of Porto and 15 min drive from the airport. Póvoa de Varzim is a cosmopolitan summer resort (with its nightlife, casino, marina, festivals and summer events), but also a nice place to relax during most of the year. This fishing town offers a nice promenade along the sandy beach and many beachside cafés and restaurants, from where you can admire a wonderful sunset. There are several places of interest in the surrounding and the city is definitely a good base for day trips in Costa Verde.

Accessibility
The apartment is on the 2nd floor. There is elevator.
Coast/Beach
The extensive coast with its sandy beach and long promenades is very popular not only for swimming and sunbathing but also for surfing, walking, cycling, skating or simply chating or relaxing in a beachside cafe. 20km north is Esposende and the Northern Coast Natural Park with its long and protected beaches, dunes, windmills and pinewoods.

Estela Golf Course just 10km away.
Travel
The closest airport is Oporto (15 mins drive). The Spanish airports of Vigo and Santiago de Compostela are 1,5 hours and 2,5 hours drive from Porto. Porto (World heritage town), Matosinhos (famous for its fish and seafood restaurants) and Vila do Conde are easily reached by train/metro. But to take the most out of the region it is advisable to have a car as there are several places of interest in the surroundings of the city.
Distances
Porto is 30km south and can be quickly reached by car via motorway A28 or by train/metro. Historic cities of Braga and Guimaraes are 45-50km northwest, via motorways A28/A11/A7 and Viana do Castelo is 45km North (A28).
Further details
Very close to the apartment there is a supermarket, café, bakery, pharmacy, bank, gymnasium, spa, cultural center and bus central station. The city centre offers pedestrian commercial streets and shopping centers, a market and good restaurants (especially for fish). Beach, swimming pools and tennis courts at a walking distance.
