Coast/Beach
A 5 minute drive to Salgados or Gale beaches with fantastic expanses of orange sand, rental of sunbeds, restaurants and bars and free parking. Many other gorgeous beaches to explore a further 5-10 minutes drive away, with dramatic cliffs and boulders.
Golf
5 min drive from the challenging Salgados golf course, a links course with numerous water hazards created by the lagoons. The course, which was established in 1995 is flat and is 6564 yds long with a Par of 72. Many other well known course are within a 20 minute drive, including: Quinto de Gramacho and Vale de Pinto, Vale de Lobo, the Vilamoura courses and a challenging but stunning Par 3 at Pine Cliffs, together with an easier Par 3 for beginners at the Balaia Golf Club. Please contact us to arrange tee-times and special rates including club hire and lessons.
Travel
25 minute drive from Faro Airport (46km). Recommend use of a hire car, though the Apartment is self contained and sufficient shops and restaurants are within walking distance to make it possible to stay here without transport. There is a local bus service to Albufeira, and taxis are relatively cheap. An Airport pick-up service can be arranged.
Distances
10 minute drive or bus journey to the old town of Albufeira. 5 minute drive to the Marine Park with its many attractions including rides and water.
Further details
A bank is located in the complex. Local supermarkets are within walking distance, English newspapers and bars with English Football a 2 minute walk away.
There is also a chemist, laundrette, wine shop and bakery. There are a number of local restaurants within a 5 minte walk and an Indian restaurant and takeaway and Italian Restaurant and pizza takeaway.
