Villa Oriente (6 room bed and breakfast) is located in the fantastic village Santa Luzia, an old fishing village on the Eastern Algarve, just a few minutes drive to the historic town Tavira. In the village there are many small super markets, fantastic restaurants, bars and cafés, many along the seafront. With a ferry or a miniature train you can reach Ilha Tavira and its stunning beach. Tavira offers lots of shops, restaurants, bars, one disco, lots of history and there is also access with a ferry to the beach Ilha Tavira

One room has self catering facilites. Fully equipped.
Accessibility
The property is not suitable for people with mobility problems.
Outside
The swimming pool is private and used only by the guests of Villa Oriente. The pool area has outdoor furnitures and sunbeds. There is a games room and dining area for breakfast.
Coast/Beach
A few minutes walk to the seafront. Miniature train or ferry out to Ilha Tavira, a 14km long, quiet and stunningly beautiful beach located in the National Park Rio Formosa. The beach in not even crowded in the peak season. There is a restaurant on Ilha Tavira.
Golf
10-20 mins drive to fantastic golf courses. We are about 30 mins drive to the Spanish border where you also find lots of golf courses. Packages for golfers can be arranged.
Travel
Nearest airpot is Faro. Pickup and drop to/from airport can be arranged. Car hire can also be arranged with pick up and drop at the airport. Car is not essential but recommended.
Distances
Villa Oriente is located in the village of Santa Luzia. 30 mins walk or a couple of minutes drive from Tavira. 30 mins drive from Faro. 30 mins drive from the Spanish border. 10-15 mins drive to golf courses. About 1 hour’s drive to Albufeira.
Further details
Santa Luzia is a small fishing village but offers several supermarkets, restaurants, local bars, night bars, bank, post office, flea market. It is the city of octopus. The restaurants serve lots of fresh fish and seafood. Big festival first week in August with 3 days of live music. Tavira offers lots of shops, restaurants, bars, one Disco, lots of history and there is also a ferry to Ilha Tavira.
