There are a variety of other blue flag beaches along the coast all approx 20 minutes drive north at S Martinho, Nazaré and then south at Baleal, Peniche and along the coastline towards Lourinhâ.

Praia del Rey approx 20 minutes drive.
Golden Eagle at Rio Maior approx 20 mins drive.

Lisbon approx 88 kms mostly motorway and takes approx 60 mins. Car essential.
Faro approx 3 hrs and Porto approx 2.5 hrs.

5 minutes drive to the historic Spa town of Caldas da Rainha with a choice of large supermarkets, bread shops, daily fresh fruit and veg market, coach, railway station, traditional bull ring. Old town centre with pedestrianised walkways and variety of different shops including post office. Park with children´s play area, small boating lake, thermal hospital, museums. Large selection of cafe bars and restaurants both International and local.
