This luxury 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment was completed in December 2007 and is part of an initimate 36 apartment condominium. It is ideally located close to Meia Praia beach (5 mins walk) and within walking distance (10 mins) to the Marina and (15 mins) to the centre of Lagos. The apartment enjoys views and direct access to the pool area from lounge and master bedroom at ground floor level via the safety gate. The spacious terrace has a patio dining table with 6 chairs with barbecue and 2 sun loungers. The apartment is heated for winter months if required. It is not necessary to hire a car but secure underground parking is available if required. The apartment is suitable for 4 people with 2 fold away beds to accommodate 2 extra people by prior agreement.

Notes on prices
Prices are per property per week based on up to 4 people. Discounts are available for long term lets excluding July and August. Please contact owners. There will be an additional charge of £50 per person per week for 5-6 people. October - April - there will be an additional charge for gas and electricity - meter readings to be taken.
Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. Access to the apartment is after 4pm and the apartment is to be vacated by 10am on day of departure.

Cleaning/towels/

The apartment is brand new and is in an up and coming area of Lagos. It is located in a 36 apartment condominium which is small and initimate.
The apartment is suitable for all ages of children. The apartment is secure and is on ground floor level. There is a safety gate with lock to the pool area. The pool area has a childrens pool in addition to the large shared pool.

Accessibility
There is lift access from entrance and underground parking (via 6 step mezzanine). The apartment is ground floor with only 6 steps down to the pool.
Outside
Large spacious terrace with full built in barbecue. There is a dining table and chairs for 6 people and 2 sun loungers. The terrace is approximately south facing and gets the sun until midday. The terrace has direct access to the shared pool area which gets the sun all day long. There is a large (approx 15m) shared swimming pool with childrens pool.
Coast/Beach
The apartment is located a pleasant five minute stroll from the beautiful golden sands of Meia Praia beach. The beach is never crowded and has a couple of beach bars serving drinks and food during the day and evening. Water sports are available from the beach during high season. Donna Ana Beach is a smaller more initimate sheltered cove with cafe and restaurant. It is a 10 minute drive from the apartment but it is possible to take a tourist train from the marina during the summer season.
Golf
There are five golf courses to choose from: Palmares - 5 mins drive BoaVista - 10 mins drive Parque de Floresta - 20 mins drive Slightly further afield there is the Penina and Alto courses which are about a 30 minute drive.
Travel
The apartment is 45 minutes drive from Faro airport. Car transfer and car hire can be arranged. It is not necessary to have a hire car once at the apartment as it is possible to walk to the beach, Marina and centre of Lagos.
Distances
The apartment is ideally located within walking distance of the bus and train stations where transport can be found to the many attractions of the Algarve including the water parks, zoo marine, aqualand, zoo. Shopping malls at Portimao and Albufeira and also the beauty spots of Monchique and Cabo De Sao Vincente are all a short car drive away. Sagres offering watersports and Silves with its beautiful castle are also only a short drive away and well worth the visit.
Further details
There is a supermarket 15 minutes walk (5 minutes drive) from the apartment. It is possible to get a taxi from the supermarket if you do not have a hire car. There are a couple of bars on Meia Priaia beach (5 mins walk)and many shops, bars and restaurants on the Marina (10 mins walk) and centre of Lagos (15 mins walk). The centre of Lagos has Barclays and all the major Portugese banks. It is possible to take Dolphin spotting trips, fishing trips, boat chartering, sailing and grotto trips from the Marina and Harbour. There is large leisure centre (15 mins walk) from the apartment that has a large olympic size swimming pool with fully equipped gym and offers a range of classes.
Booking notes
30% desposit required to secure booking and full payment required 8 weeks prior to departure. Payment by electronic transfer or cheque. A refundable deposit of £200 is required at time of final payment to cover breakages, damage, loss of keys etc. This will be returned 1 week after the holiday subject to confirmation that all is OK from our Property Manager.
Guest comments
We had a wonderful time at the apt. really this is difficult as you asked us to be critically honest and we really cannot find any faults. I would love to write down a critical constructive analysis but we have no criticism. If we had any criticism it would be that your web page does not do the apt justice. It doesn’t give the beautiful perspective from your balcony out over the beach huts to the sea as the boats sail in and out of the harbour. Nor does it explain that a walk to the beach or beach restaurants is literally 5 mins. It is a great apartment and I would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone.
The apartment is very child friendly. My kids just loved it.
