We are flexible with changeover days. But prefer Thursdays, when possible. Departures at 10 hrs. Arrival time 16 hrs.

Apartment 1

Master bedroom with double bed and ample fitted cupboards. 2nd bedroom with twin beds and fitted cupboards. Both bedrooms are light and airy with electric shutters. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom. The en-suite bathroom is large, with a jacuzzi bath, twin basins, bidet and wc. The 2nd bathroom has power shower in cabinet, which is also a steam cabinet. Bidet, wc, and heated towel rails. The kitchen has doors leading to the hall and to the dining area of the living room. It is beautifully fitted, with granite surfaces, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, electric cooker with hobs and overhead extractor. Living room with high ceiling, fireplace, heating and air conditioning units. Very well proportioned room. Large modern 6 seat sofa. Plasma TV. Satellite, DVD, CD player. Dining area consists of table and 6 chairs. Towels and bed linen are changed once a week and are supplied. Cleaned once a week. Additional cleaning can be arranged on request.

Apartment 2

The master bedroom has double bed ( Queensize), Table + chairs on balcony with sea views. The en-suite bathroom has Jacuzzi bath, shower, bidet, wc and double basins. Second bedroom with double bed, fitted cupboards. Third bedroom with twin beds, fitted cupboards. All the bedrooms have bedside tables and lamps, and are big rooms, beautifully furnished and with good quality bed linen. Air conditioning. The Living/dinning room has white leather sofas, satellite. 32" (82cms) Samsung TV. CD/radio player. Dining table + 6 black leather chairs. Leading to fully equipped 'top of the range' kitchen, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, electric cooker and hobs, microwave. Doors to balcony with further table+chairs, BBQ for outdoor dining.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is fully air conditioned. Beautifully furnished throughout, with high standard elegance. Unsuitable for children under 12.

Coast/Beach
Between Tavira and Monte Gordo, there is a stretch of 24 km of long sandy beaches. There are 5 Blue Flag beaches with soft white sand, and beach side restaurants and bars, and car parking. The Isle de Tavira is a short boat trip from Tavira riverside, or by the Yacht Club at Quatro Aguas.

Golf
There are 6 prestigious golf courses east of Tavira. All within 20 minute drive. The 2 latest courses are the Jack Nicklaus Signature Course - Monte Rei, with it's luxurious Clubhouse and magnificent views over the course and surrounding countryside. The first Severiano Ballesteros Championship design lies on the edge of the River Guadiana. Castro Marim is a par 71 (73Ladies) on the Portuguese/Spanish border. Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima where several PGA European Tour events have been hosted. Benamor which was the first course east of Faro, designed by the late Sir Henry Cotten. There are summer discounts at most courses.

Travel
The airport is 30 minutes drive. Seville 2 hours by car and Lisbon 3 hours. Car is recommended but not essential.

Further details
Tavira has 3 supermarkets, numerous banks, a Tourist information office, railway station, bus station, and boats for trips down the Guadiana River. Ferries to the Island of Tavira.
Many riverside restaurants on both sides of the Gilao river, connected by the Roman bridge. There are cafes and restaurants in the romantic squares, under swaying palm trees, or tall jacaranda trees, where you can sit and watch the world go by. For those who enjoy a night out on the Town, Monte Gordo and Ayamonte (Spain) offer lots of bars, restaurants as well as a Casino complete with nightly shows. There are 4 water parks, and 2 theme parks along the Algarve - all within 90 minutes drive.
