This very quaint traditional farm cottage, recently renovated, is nestled on a hill with spectacular views of Lagoa and Urzais Valley bursting with Citrus Orchards. 2 minutes drive from Lagoa, 5 minutes from Silves, 10 minutes from Carvoeiro Beach. A good central location for all attractions and golf courses, with one (Silves) just 5 minutes down the road. The swimming pool, in front of the owners house, with a shaded bar and seating area (Wi-Fi available here - sit by the pool and collect your e-mails or surf the web - free!), is yours to enjoy boasting a completely private terrace with stunning views across the valley into Lagoa and a fenced in garden area with gas BBQ. There is a full gymnasium just 2 minutes down the road that charges about 10 euros per day!

Changeover day is flexible.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with double bed. Bedroom 3 - storage room with single bed. It has no windows at present and access is gained only through bedroom 1! |
| Bathrooms: | Bathroom with bath/shower over, wc, wash basin, bidet - And make-up stand with mirror. Washing machine with wall cupboard above for washing powder etc. |
| Kitchen: | Electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, all crockery and cutlery, dining table and chairs. |
| Living Rooms: | Large double sofa bed, small 2 seater sofa, large coffee table, 29" TV with Satellite (UK channels) & DVD player. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Clean towels and linen are included and the property will be cleaned once a week when the towels and linen will be changed. If you do not require a maid service once a week please let me know. |
Notes on accommodation
Attached to the cottage (by very thick soundproof walls) is the owners house (a converted barn). The owner has 3 very friendly large dogs which can be kept at the rear of the property should it pose a problem. The rear of the property is not included in the rental!

Accessibility
The property is all on one level with the exception of the bathroom which is down three steps. To access the swimming pool, walk 7 meters across the front of the property by the parking area and down 6 steps!
Outside
At the front of the property there is plenty of room for parking. Attached to the cottage (by very thick soundproof walls) is the owners house (a converted barn) which has a large fenced in garden area including the 10x5m swimming pool with tiled terraced area all around, shower and sun loungers. Including a shaded bar with fridge and seating area with luxurious Ratan cushioned arm chairs, 3 seater soafa and coffee table, Wi-Fi is available here! There is also a plastic table and chairs.
Coast/Beach
Carvoeiro beach is a 10 minute drive. You may well have already seen the very pretty town beach at Carvoeiro which is often featured in holiday brochures. The Algarve is famous for its beaches and coastline and it is still possible to find a quiet stretch of beach just a short drive from your accommodation.
Golf
There are golf courses all around, the new Silves course just 5 minutes down the road.
Travel
Faro airport is 40 minutes drive from here and a car is essential, there is not much within walking distance!
Distances
Lagoa is the nearest town, just a few minutes drive. Then you have Silves which is less than 10 minutes drive and Carvoeiro (beach) which is about 10 minutes.
Further details
Lagoa has many banks with ATMs, bars, restaurants, shops and there are 4 supermarkets there too. All you need is close by. There is a full gymnasium in Lagoa just a coupe of minutes down the road, they charge about 10 euros per day or there is a reduced rate short term membership! If you want further details I will be pleased to find out for you.
