Situated in a tranquil rural area, this spacious villa, with full air conditioning, is set in a beautiful fully maintained and exceptionally large private garden - ideal for privacy and peace. Because it is set in a tranquil area it is advisable to rent a car. It is set two miles South of the village of Guia, the location of some 20 restaurants providing both local and international cuisine for this prime area of villas including that of Sir Cliff Richard. And when you want a more lively environment - the top resort of Albufeira is just five miles away. On your arrival day we ensure that the fridge is stocked with milk, bread, butter cheese, tomatoes and fruit juice - just a personal way of saying welcome.

Other: A full-size pool table and 'rotating' football game table is supplied on the covered veranda.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Full maid service with a local lady available 24/7 to contact if you should need anything resolved.
Maid service occurs every three days during your stay
The maid cleans the villa on every visit, replacing any linen or towels as requested or required.

 

Notes on accommodation
Air conditioning is provided in the lounge and three main bedrooms.
The other single bedroom has a ceiling fan and mosquito nets.
The villa is fully insured for lettings for everyone's peace of mind.

Accessibility
With the exception of internal access to the kitchen, all rooms are on a single floor with no ramps or obstructions.
Access to the kitchen for a wheelchair from inside the villa would be via the patio, across the patio, and then through the external door to the kitchen (a one inch lip)
The internal corridors are of sufficient width.
Please give prior notice if wheelchair access is required. This will enable us to provide a ramp over the patio steps - for access to the gardens and pool.

Outside
Extensive and maintained private garden full of exotic plants and offering many shaded peaceful areas.
There is a purpose built barbecue and ample garden furniture including a table, chairs and adjustable sun loungers with mattresses.
The large stepped pool is not heated as we have never seen the need for this in Portugal...we hope you agree.

Coast/Beach
The extensive and natural Praia de Salgados beach is a fifteen minute drive south of the villa.

Golf
There are many golf courses within a 30 minute drive from the villa, including the Val de Lobo area.

The villa is a 30 minute drive from Faro Airport.
Full and comprehensive driving instructions are provided.

Guia is two miles away.
Albufeira is seven miles away.
Praia de Salgados and the safe beaches at Gale are seven miles away.

Further details
The village of Guia has a host of excellent restaurants whilst Albufeira is a maximum of fifteen minutes drive down the road.
Guia is the site of @algarve Shopping', with a large supermarket, quality shops and 8 screen cinema, showing films in English with Portuguese sub-titles. You can purchase euro lottery tickets there. The ZooMarine park is nearby and there are two water slide parks within a 10/15 minute drive.

A booking form will be sent to you when making a booking. A 30% non refundable deposit is required and the balance due 5 weeks before arrival.
Please note that it is advisable to take out Holiday insurance.

About the owner
Our family have owned this beautiful villa since 2000 and since that time we have spent a lot of time, love and care on it, which we hope will show when you are there. Our extended family all live in Bournemouth in the UK and so we also get to spend time in the sun as well, though due to the demands of the holiday 'industry' we tend to be there when the sun tends to go into hiding.... In the few cases where our customers have had problems, the knowledge that they can phone me direct, or our lady representative in Portugal, has allowed us to provide the fastest and best solution in every case - to everyone's complete satisfaction.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
The villa is set in a beautiful and quiet rural location yet is only a ten minute drive from Albufeira - so it used to be that Mum and Dad were the taxi drivers but now the children themselves seem to want to stay in the gardens and have a BBQ...time marches on....but not too long before they themselves become the taxi drivers.....proving that there is nothing new in the world!

Unique benefits of the property
THis nvilla is different in that it is set in the most outstanding garden and is itself surrounded by a rural setting so that it has an aura of peace and tranquility- waking to the sound of birdsong is something I had forgotten.
