There is many quality beaches nearby. Falésia Beach with miles of golden sand is ideal for a day on the beach with its unusual red coloured cliffs.

Special interest holidays
Vilamoura Marina is the largest in Europe and there you will find an excellent array of high quality bars and restaurants. “O Marisco” is particularly recommended if you want to taste the best shellfish in the Algarve. During the day in the marina there are plenty of boat trips including dolphin and whale watching, big game fishing, beach fishing, scuba diving etc. For a great night out visit many bars on the marina and watch the sun go down while sipping a cocktail or visit the casino and try your luck at the tables. For shoppers there are some very high quality shops in Vilamoura but for greater choice a visit to Forum shopping in Faro or Algarve Shopping in Guia-Albufeira is a must. There is a Zoo Marine water Park with dolphins etc. in Guia-Albufeira, and a nice Aqua Show Fun Park between Quarteira and Loulé both within 15 mins drive. You can enjoy also nearby, horse riding, Spa, sailing, windsurfing, cycling, tennis, lawn bowls, nightclub etc.
Travel
Car hire can be arranged in the airport or a taxi is easy to get there. Faro Airport is serviced by most low-cost airlines including Monarch, Easyjet, BMi Baby and Thomsonfly.
Distances
Vilamoura Marina is about 5 minutes drive away and Faro airport is 15/20 minutes drive. Quinta Do Lago and Vale Do Lobo resorts are only 15 drive away. Quarteira, 10 mins drive and Loulé, 10 mins drive. For those who like to explore further afield, Tavira, Albufeira Silves and Lagos are all easy to reach.
Further details
The nearest town is Quarteira and has a daily fish market and a general market every Wednesday morning, only 10 mins drive. The lovely old town of Loule has great historical interest with a castle and is only 15 minutes drive and has a popular food and gypsy market every Saturday morning.
A gym and sports centre at Browns is 3/4 mins drive.
Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure the booking. Full payment due 4 weeks before arrival or immediately if booked at short notice. A refundable security, key and breakages deposit of 150 euros is payable with your final balance - this will be refunded within 14 days after you return subject to satisfactory inspection. Payment by bank transfer.
