Bayside Apartments is a small development of modern, beautiful, air-conditioned apartments in the Salgados area, close to Albufeira. The apartment shares a large pool, small jacuzzi pool and children's play area. Gale beach, which stretches over 5km, is within walking distance, as are the many restaurants/bars and supermarket. The apartment overlooks the fantastic Salgados Golf Course with a superb 18 hole course. The nearest town of Albufeira is a short taxi/bus journey area for the more lively.

Long winter lets (4 or more weeks) - prices to be negotiated. From £125 per week.
Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. The apartment must be vacated by 11am on day of departure. The apartment will be available from 3pm on day of arrival. However, we will try to be flexible with these times to suit your flights.

Accessibility
The apartment is a second floor apartment.
Outside
Landscaped gardens with large communal pool, small children's pool and children's play area. Sunloungers are provided around the pool for your use. Tables and chairs are provided by the poolside bar/snack bar.
Coast/Beach
10 minutes walk to Gale beach. The eastern side of this beach is composed of small cosy coves with large rocks for children to scramble over; the west is long and open, heading all the way to Armacao de Pera.
Free car park available for car users.
Golf
Salgados golf club is a short walk away. The 18 hole course is a medium length course demanding great accuracy given its huge array of water hazards. Equipment is available for hire including, clubs, shoes and buggies. There is also a Pro shop, practice green and restaurant on site. No handicap certificate required. You are also within easy reach by car of Vilamoura where you will find alternative golf courses.
Travel
The apartment is 40 minutes from Faro airport. Car hire firms are available at the airport, for those wishing to hire a car.
As there are so many beautiful places to visit in the Algarve, we would recommend a car although it is not essential.
Distances
Albufeira is 10-15 minutes away in the car/bus.
Attractions for the family includes: Zoomarine (aquarium and leisure park - with the opportunities to swim with the dolphins for an additional fee), waterparks such as Slide and Splash, The Big One and Aqualand are great fun and suitable for kids of all ages.
Vilamoura is a purpose built resort with millionaires marina and dubbed the golf capital of the Algarve. The marina is surrounded by restaurants, cafes, shops and a casino.
Further details
Although entertainment is low key in this area, there are plenty of restaurants/bars within a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk, from fine dining to bar snacks. There is also a restaurant on site serving drinks and food at breakfast and evening meal times. A supermarket is 1/2 mile away, offering a excellent selection of fresh and seasonal produce, both English products and Portuguese. Cash machine also available here.
Algarve Shopping is a 10 minute drive away and includes a cinema, bowling alley and a good range of shops.
Booking notes
A 30% non refundable deposit is required to secure the booking, with a balance payment required, 6 weeks before departure. If trip is within six weeks then full payment will be required.
Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer.
