2 luxury studio apartments, 1 with four-poster bed and one with over bed drapes. The lounge is the bedroom and as well as the bed there is a futon style double bed in one and a sofabed which makes a double or two singles in the other. The apartments are situated in a quiet residential area just 10 mins walk from the strip with its bars, shops and restaurants. So you can enjoy the hustle and bustle when you want and then leave it all behind when you have had enough! It is a pleasant half hour stroll along the strip to the beach. The apartment block has 80 apartments in total, there is parking in front of the building should you wish to have a hire car. The block has its own garden and pool area including children’s pool and play area all enclosed by a high fence and locked gate (key provided).

Accommodation

Studio apartment, the lounge is also the bedroom. This apartment has a 4-poster bed and a futon style sofa with a proper mattress which makes a double bed. There is TV, DVD, large wardrobe, drawers and air conditioning. There is a full bathroom with shower over the bath, bidet, sink and toilet. There is also a hairdryer for you to use and for winter time clients there is an electric wall mounted heater. There is a fully equipped dining kitchen which has a large size fridge/freezer, a dining table and 4 chairs, washer, dishwasher, full size oven with ceramic 4-ring hob and extractor fan, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, ironing board and iron, pegs and an airer to hang your washing on. There is also a travel cot, highchair and potty available should they be required.

This apartment has a draped double bed and a sofa that makes either a double bed or 2 single beds. Its description is exactly the same as apartment 411.

 

Notes on accommodation
Both apartments have air conditioning which also provides heat in the winter months as well as oil filled radiators and wall mounted heaters in the bathroom.
The apartments are suitable for children and there are a few toys and inflatables in each apartment for you to use. The rooftop area is available to both apartments and has sunlougers, table and chairs and a barbecue. It also provides a safe play area with adult supervision.

Outside
The apartments have a shared pool and garden area which is enclosed by a high chainlink fence and has a gate which is kept locked at all times. A key is provided for your use as this is strictly for residents and their guests only. The gardens and pool are well maintained. Within this area there is also a tennis court and a small children's play area with swing and climbing frame.

Coast/Beach
The beach is approx 0.7km about half an hour's stroll this is either to Oura beach or fisherman's beach. Both beaches are sandy, both have on beach restaurants and sunbed hire. If you are feeling energetic you can walk along the cliffs from Oura beach dropping down onto several little beaches along the way right the way to Fisherman's beach in the Old town.

Travel
Car hire is not essential. You can walk quite easily around this large resort and sometimes especially in high season parking a car can be quite a problem. There are plenty of buses to get out and about on. There is a tourist land train which travels around the resort.
Faro Airport is approximately 30 mins from Albufeira and should you wish then transport can be arranged to meet you at the airport.

Distances
Monechoro is an area of Albufiera, it is about a half hour stroll to the old town. Ten minutes walk takes you to the start of the strip which runs to the beach, which is again about a half hour stroll (longer if you partake of a beer or wine along the way!!). The Algarve is full of interesting places to visit there are a host of other resorts to go, there's Zoo Marine, water parks, the Monchique mountains, you can go to Faro or even Lisbon on the train.

Further details
The nearest supermarket is a 5 minute walk away and it also has a bakery and a butchers shop in there to. Across the road from the supermarket there is a bank. If you walk to the top of the strip and walk down to the big pedestrian crossing, cross over the road and about four shops down on your left is a money exchange shop.

Booking notes
A deposit of £50 is needed to secure any booking and the remaining balance is due 12 weeks prior to departure.
A security deposit of £100 is required in the form of a cheque please and subject to a property check this will be returned to you when the apartment keys have been received back.
