The house is in a residential neighborhood of individual family dwellings, in front of the main beach of Porto Côvo's village and it is five minutes walk to the center. The house of recent construction has a traditional architecture, it has a large living room with fireplace, it has a taken care decoration and has an external patio with a small porch, allowing to take meals in the exterior. Porto Côvo is located in a protected zone, in SW of Portugal, 12 Km far from the city of Sines, middle distance between Lisbon and the Algarve. Here and nearby you can find, many and varied sandy beaches, good food and, above all, very good fish, in the local restaurants. Porto Côvo has small shops, cafes and restaurants. It is ideally located to explore the Costa Azul and the surrounding villages and small resorts. Local beaches are good for surfing and windsailing. Sines has a modern new Cultural Centre and a small mariner.

Notes on accommodation
The house do not have air conditioned because it is not necessary due to the construction conditions and its location near the sea. During the winter season, heating may be necessary. Movable heaters (electrical) are in the house if needed.

There is a lot to explore in this protected area of wild and natural beauty.

The house is 400 m far from the village center with its famous small square with cafes and boutiques. Further details
Porto Côvo is a peaceful small village, surrounded by beautiful beaches. In August becomes a little bit crowded, because of its beautiful beaches. There are very good fish restaurants in the town and nearby. Sines, the nearest town has a new very modern cultural centre and is known for its World Music Festival that take place, every year, in the last week of July. A safari park was built in the area. The area is good for walking and exploring and is not spoilt by tourist building or over development.
