Accessibility
Property is served by a lift and has level access from the road. The apartment has not been adapted for wheelchair users but is on one level.

Outside
Below the apartment block is a swimming pool and bar/restaurant complex. Being commercially operated its opening in 2008 is as yet unsure. There is another excellent bar/restaurant with internet access within 100 yards.

Coast/Beach
Probably the best beach in the Algarve, the wide mile-long Atlantic strip of sand is only 10 minutes walk away. There is a boardwalk along the beach which is lit at night, giving access to many beach bars and restaurants. Daytime activities include water-skiing, sailing, windsurfing, jet-skiing, pedalos, and beach sports.

Golf
There are six 19 hole golf courses within a few (2-8) kilometres. Penina, Alto Club, Carvoeiro Club, Quinta do Gramacho, Vale do Milho and Vale da Pinta.

Travel
Faro airport is 45 minutes to 1 hour drive along the A22 dual carriageway. A car is not essential, everything you really need is within walking distance.

Distances
Praia da Rocha has all the shops you will need for your holiday. Portimao, which is a mid size commercial town with hypermarkets and retail parks, is only 2km away. There are excursions available within walking distance to take you the water slide park (7km away) off road safaris, and other places of interest.
