The apartment is located in, Graça, one of the oldest neighbourhoods of Lisbon. It is within a turn of the century (1900) building. The Belvedere (Nossa Senhora do Monte) with the most celebrated (more than 180 degree) views over the city is only 1 street and 1 minute away. St Jorge's Castle is 5 mins walk. The flat has all modern cons (kettle, toaster, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and hobs/oven). Its is also a stone’s throw away from typical commerce in the neigbouring streets (butchers, fishmongers, grocery, Portuguese cafes, Portuguese tascas, patisseries etc.) a variety of Lisboete commerce all easily available at walking distance. The legendary tram No. 28, Stops 1 Street from the apartment. If you decide to enjoy the apartment, we can provide transport from the airport depending on your arrival/departure date at a fixed rate.

Prices are for the property per night in euros.
Notes to the rental rates: The minimum stay is 3 nights. Daily rates are for 2 adults or a couple + 1 child up to 12 years. For more than 2 adults, there is an additional 10 euros per day/per adult surcharge. Maximum occupancy: 4 people. Linen and towels included. Final cleaning included.

Coast/Beach
Lisbon is close to many beaches to the south and north of Lisbon.
Golf
Boasting springtime temperatures during the winter and cool summers freshened by a breeze blowing in from the Atlantic, Lisbon, on the southwestern coast, offers a rich and impressively integrated diversity of golf courses nearby. The best are Golf Quinta do Peru in Azeitão crossing the Tagus river 40m; Troia Golfe in Troia peninsula (you can reach it by boat from Setubal 1 hour - it is a wonderful trip); Penha Longa in Sintra 30m; Oitavos (Quinta da Marinha) in Cascais/Guincho 30m; Aroeira near the coast of Caparica 45m.
Travel
Distance from the airport is 6.3km, about 15 mins car ride. Taxis ready availlable at the airport.
Aerobus operates daily between 7.45am. and 8.45pm. connecting the Airport to the city center every 20 mins (Line 91, Carris).
A day ticket for all of Lisbon is about 3.50 euros and can be bought in the tube and some major bus stations.
As the flat is centrally located I recommend buying a card loaded with 10 travels. You can walk everywhere in the old city and will only use it for longer travel.
Distances
Places of interest within the city: Castelo de Sao Gorge,
Praca do Comercio, Torre de Belem, Mosteiro dos Jeronimos, Convento do Carmo, Chiado, Bairro Alto, Medieval quarters of Alfama and Mouraria, Graca Belvederes, the downtown (Baixa), Centro Cultural de Belem.
About 30 mins: Out of Lisbon (but still near), Sintra (castles and medieval beautiful village), Obidos (Medieval City), Cascais (fishing village and beaches), Estoril (casino and beaches), Ericeira (fishing village and beaches).
Booking notes
A 30% deposit is taken on confirmation of booking and the total amount is due 2 weeks before arrival. Late bookings to be paid in full.
Payment can be made using a British cheque or by PayPal.
With PayPal it is easy and fast, plus the refunds are also imediate in case you decide to cancel the booking.
Breakages and damages are charged for at cost, as is special cleaning if the apartment is left in an unacceptable condition.
