15 minutes drive to Praia Grande and Praia das Maçãs beaches, excellent for surfing and sunbathing. 25 minutes drive to Guincho Beach and Estoril and Cascais, beaches, perfect for swimming and bathing. Sailing and water-skiing in Cascais Bay.
Golf
The property is not far from 3 of the famous golf courses in the area - Estoril, Penha Longa and Belas Club de Campo.
Travel
Lisbon Airport is only 30 minutes away. To explore the Sintra/Cascais area with all its recommended sites, a hire car is essential.

20 minutes drive to Mafra Palace and Ericeira Beach. 10 minutes walk from the Sintra historic centre. 20 minutes drive to Estoril and Cascais. 20 minutes drive to Guincho Beach. 15 minutes drive to Colares. 30 minutes drive to Lisbon.

There are shopping malls and supermarkets in the Estoril and Cascais areas with all the modern chain stores. There is a typical market in Sintra on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month. A wide choice of restaurants is available offering the freshest fish and seafood with breathtaking sea views also in the Sintra/Colares/Almoçageme/Ericeira area, all within close range of the property. Banks and ATM machines are also available within easy reach. The Estoril Casino is a 20 minutes drive if you feel like a different night out on the town. If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, walks and hikes in the Sintra hills, gardens and along its beautiful beaches and coastline besides inside the Quinta itself, there are plenty on offer everywhere you look around. Lisbon is also an option and you can go for the day - sightseeing, shopping, concerts - all is available in the capital city!
