Casa Rosina’s spacious accommodation is equipped with all the facilities a modern family needs to enjoy their holiday. When staying - our house is your house. The kids can stay entertained playing with the 'off road' push scooters, body boards, pool toys, video games and DVDs, while the parents relax around the pool or share sundowners on the relaxing roof top terrace bar. The unique positioning of Casa Rosina within the village offers an easy 5 minute walk to the beach, and a 2 minute walk from the bars and restaurants of the central square - forget the car. Alternatively relax by your private pool and enjoy the tranquillity. Ferragudo is reported to be the most photographed village in the Algarve. It's unspoilt cobbled streets and picture postcard houses blend seamlessly with the local bars and restaurants. The unique atmosphere of Ferragudo is created by a blend of village life and the small local fishing business that supplies fresh fish to the numerous restaurants.

Prices are for the property per week in euros.
We charge a supplement of 50 Euros per head for each extra guest on groups of more than 8, to cover the charges incurred for cleaning and laundering etc.

Changeover day
Changeover days are on Thursdays during the high season. Out of season we can be more flexible.

Coast/Beach
The house is situated less than 5 mins walk from Ferragudo’s main beach 'Praia Grande', the beach is one of the many blue flag beaches in the local area. Its clean water, golden sands, safe swimming and beach bars offer something for everyone. The Kalu Bar in particular provides an oasis of shade, palm trees and relaxation.
Golf
The Algarve’s international reputation for championship golf courses provides a mecca for golfers of all abilities. The accomodation is within 10 to 15 mins drive from the following courses: Boavista, Penina, Alto Golf, Morgado Do Reguengo, Vale Da Pinta, Quinta Do Gramacho and Vale Da Milho.
Travel
The Algarve's main tourist airport is an easy 40 mins drive from the property. As the property is located in the heart of the village and its local shops and ammenities a car is not essential. Airport pick-up can be arranged on request. For those wishing to hire a car, facilities can be found within Ferragudo and at Faro airport.
Distances
The property is situated in Ferragudo village itself. Our property is 3 min walk from village square/shops and 5 min walk from beach. Other attractions and amenities are within easy driving distance.
Large modern supermarket approx 5 mins drive. Nearby Carvoeiro is about a 10 minute drive, Portimao 10 minutes, Lagos 20 minutes, Silves or Monchique 25 minutes.
Further details
The local area offers deep sea fishing, scuba diving, dolphin watching, surfing, horse riding, kite surfing, waterskiing, sailing and kayaking. Modern water parks offer excitement and entertainment for all the family. For a slower pace indulge yourself in the rich history and culture of the Algarve. Visit the Moorish town of Silves or take a trip to see the Roman spa-town of Monchique. Children and adults can experience marine wildlife at first hand including swimming with dolphins, at the renowned Zoomarine. Alternatively visit the modern Algarve shopping centre or browse the traditional potteries at Porches where you can watch the artists at work. A 5 minute water taxi trip across the river Arade will take you to the prestigious Portimao Marina and shopping centre. The modern bars and restaurants offer a luxurious backdrop to the endless strip of golden sand known as Praia da Rocha. The resort offers a busy night life established on the international DJ circuit as well as being the chosen venue for the latest edition to the 'Nikki Beach Club' experience. At the end of the evening leave all this behind by returning to the tranquillity of Ferragudo.
